  This is all spiral arm, no core, unless the light in the middle is an overexposure. Very unusual shape, the "Snake Galaxy".

  If you go into SkyServer (click on the above Blue Galaxy Zoo examine) and zoom in you'll see that it has a barred core. #starburst
