    First impression was a spiral, but closer examination leaves me uncertain. Is it interacting with the small blob left and/or galaxy right?

    The central object is indeed a spiral and it looks like it is interacting with the one to the right

    If you look closely the spiral galaxy in front is obstructing the galaxy behind it with dust and gas no deformity yet from interaction.
