    There is a brighter light in the spiral which shows on the uv spectrum. Any ideas? looks very similar object to OBJECT AGZ0002omf

    if you go to 'examine ' it shows up on the uv so its not just a duff pixel in the picture.

    I go onto the RAW FITS DATA on the 'examine' page and it shows the light wavelengths...or have I got it wrong

    I think these data are for the central galaxy. How do you separate this to get the data for the little dot ?

    Click on Galaxy Zoo examine and then you have a rectangle with 'Examine raw FITS data' Just click on that.
