    the central elliptical shows no tidal flows toward the spiral, but certainly there is definite disturbance in the spiral(old merger)

    Appears to be a merger but has not completely coalesced into one star yet. Also a prominent galaxy to the NE of this one, maybe being pulled

    Not sure what you mean by 'coalesced into one star yet'. A galaxy consist of hundreds of millions of stars.

    The bright green objects are foreground stars from our galaxy and have no connection whatsoever with the central galaxy.
