the light from the galaxy is stronger than the little twinkle of light from the satellite. therefor galaxy wins:)

POSSIBLEBut the red line is thin and less brighter at the intersection with the galactic center and seems to diverge slightly on both sides.

As noted before that is a satellitetrail but because the galaxy's bulge is brighter, the trail gets covered up.

It's not that the bulge is brighter than the trail, it's that the satellite spent a small fraction of the integrating time crossing the FOV
