  Possible that a collision resulted in two tails of tidal debris, the lower one split in half and both fell in.

  SIMBAD: IRAS F01337+0319 -- Infra-Red source / NED shows 2 objects type G (Galaxy). Now, look on SkyServer and an important detail shows.

  There is a #cluster of 3 ellipticals off the pointy end (at 2 o'clock), not seen in this image. So, the pointy end could be #tidaldebris
