The DR8 image shows a very bright center. Not a star, I think 😃

probably the blue dot is nearer and has nothing to do with the spiral, but just to be sure I am asking for comments...

Normally a dot looking like that is a star, but in this case it looks like it's the nucleus of the galaxy.
