  that clump in the upper left of the galaxy is another galaxy according to skyserver. Looking at the Z's for both, this would be a merger 1/2

  but is it? The galaxy doesn't seem that much disturbed. Could it be a heavy starforming region? 2/2

  SkyServer is not always right - it is nice as an additional resource - but it is not infallible:-) Looking at the spectra - same redshift.
