    i did some reeding and the blue spots are created out of the creation of blue stars they will have a really short life 😦 #overlap

    The blue spots are regions of star formation. In these images the young stars are hot and blue in colour - nothing to do with the lifespan!

    I classified the central as smooth, cigar shaped, but the overlapping galaxy is amazing. Agree, blue stars usually have short life spans.

    It looks like its a spiral galaxy with a central bright core, merging with a loose, clumpy galaxy

    @isak.austin - in these images we are unable to see individual stars in galaxies, so we are not able to classify them into categories 😃
