Definitely not an elliptical. It is a fuzzy spiral with a very active star forming area (the blu stuff)

Ah, only now I see it, this is a Hubble image. 'GMASS 2357' already 30 refs in NED so should already be a lot more info available (also with GRISM)

...though it did get a mention in a paper about bulgeless galaxies and one about AGN. What an interesting feature it has.

VERY interesting, als o quite a while in'Objects that need more research' now. I was going through interesting objects for the Hubble 'low priority' thread by NGC3314, but found out this is already imaged by Hubble
