How long is it? Well, a guess, without doing any looking up, I would say a million light-years. Could be out by a factor of 10.

According to what i'm finding, #ARP 105's tail is greater than 325,000 light-years long. A little more than a quarter of a million ly! haha

I'm assuming we're looking at the galaxy in the bottom middle of the image. Are two centers to the galaxy? Is that merger?

Always classify the target in the middle, even if it is small and dim. Not merger, is collision, with tidal debris.
