  Looks there is the jet of a quasar from the center of the galaxy to the upper right side of the picture?

  The 'jet' is probably another galaxy seen edge on, overlapping the central galaxy.

  If another galaxy the "jet" is quite wispy and not bright, so to me it does seem like a jet of matter coming out of the galaxy
