Definitely NGC 1299.
That blue spot near the center looks like a foreground star if you ask me, but it also happens to resemble a central bulge.

This is an unusually blue galaxy, so much that I'm curious as to why. In structure it resembles the Megellanic clouds.
Is this a possible merger? Or is it not quite possible to tell from this image alone?
