#barred spiral
#star formation I looked at this in the SDSS image at it showed lots of blue areas, am I correct that these are areas of star formation ?
#interesting #agn #barredspiral
is this a clump of stars , artefacts or galaxies ?
#agn
#barred #spiral
#fhb
#starforming (see the Sdss pic)
#dustlane #gorgeous
#veryinteresting! looked at this at different wavelenths appears to be burst of something, can anyone elaborate ?
#starforming region possibly at the blue spot at 7oclock ? not sure how to use NED so im in the dark about this object
thought it was interesting as it has wisps of #spiral around it but appears #elliptical in the main body
#star
#artifact
i put this down as #star
#satellite
disturbed spiral arms ?
are these lots of stars ? (im guessing this because of point of light when I look at the sdss pic
very interesting, whats the object on the right (the brigfht orange band) is that a galaxy ?
#tidal the arms appear to be disturbed
could this be a #lens ??
#interesting can anyone shed any light on this (no pun intended!)
#bar #spiral #unusual this seems to be a spiral and a bar ? and disc! any comments/help with identifying this ?
#merger any thoughts anyone if im right ?
#fhb just read about the faint hubble blobs, is this one ?
#agn ?
i put this down as #merger , what do you guys think ?
i think im blind after seeing this
is there any way I could see the pic that includes the bottom bright galaxy ?
are they artifacts ?
#spiral
i know the pic isnt great but i thought something at 3oclock seems to be obscuring/interfering this galaxy
#agm
thought this was merging, but anyone got any ideas ? im curious to know about this one , thx
10 mins deciding....im think the middle of the 3 galaxies is being squashed by the one below from the deformation shown...i think !?
somthing seems to have pulled at this galaxy (see the bottom) which seems to have elongated it
ignoring the CRAZY star on the left! I thought the smaller galaxy was deforming the larger one in the center
I inverted the image and it appeared the arms were trailing debris (very noticable for the top one) as if they breaking apart
Looking closley I thought that this spiral G had a smaller satelite G, what do you guys think? i thought i could see a little disturbance
am i right that this would be an #agm ?
Ive classed this as merger but im 50/50 on this, tried inverting the colours, to me it seems like one galaxy at 90deg to another
Looking at this I think the top right object appears to be affecting the galaxy shape
Im guessing this is an artefact from a bright star/galaxy just off picture to the right after reading the forums ?
Hi, thanks for the answer!, I thought they were, but was curious as Im new to galaxyzoo, fantastic site !
Hi AprilWitch, thanks for for the answer, can I ask how did you know the star is from our galaxy? many thanks B
Appears to have dominant star but also a star that is bright on the on one of the spiral arms parallel to the central star.
What are the red and green dots?
