Galaxy Zoo Talk
Absolutely gorgeous #spiral with a #bar #barred-spiral
This is a star from our galaxy that oversaturated the filters. Classify as star/artifact. 😃
Hahaha #dailyzoo !!
@Rdim yes, but remember, always classify the object in the center of the image! 😃
Stars from our galaxy. Classify as star/artifact. 😃
Stars from our galaxy; the color is an artifact. But yes, it is pretty!
Hi @youneek1 , these are stars from our galaxy causing the imaging to go haywire. Classify as star/artifact. Thanks!
Yep, this is what happens when stars from our galaxy mess up the filtering. Classify as star/artifact. Thanks!!
Hi @AstroPerson08 , these are stars from our galaxy that mess up the filtering. Classify as star/artifact. thanks!
Hi @Cyberpunk86 , these are stars from our galaxy. They mess up the filters. Classify as star/artifact. Thanks!!
Yep!
It does kind of look like an incoming airplane, doesn't it? 😃
It's a star from our galaxy. Sometimes that messes up the imaging filters. 😃 Classify as star/artifact!
This one does look rather interesting... deep blue... very loose spiral arms?
Unfortunately, it's probably just a star from our galaxy that got caught in the photo (although wait for a confirmation from an expert!)
These are probably not galaxies, but stars from our galaxy. That's generally what ends up creating these wonky filtering issues! #artifact
I always think they look like #redbloodcells, myself.
No worries, though! Plenty of people will see each image. We tend to get the right classification at the end!
@PetrosM yes!
These are probably stars from our galaxy... the red-blood-cell imaging effect is oddly common! 😃 More info here: http://bit.ly/15jnkzU
Probably a star from our galaxy; they tend to show up in really wonky colors. Unless I'm wrong (not an expert), classify as #artifact 😃
Often! If you see a really bright blob, or something that looks like red blood cells or a lens flare, it's typically an artifact. 😃
Looks to me like a star from our galaxy #artifact
I think that this is just a star and an #artifact with an imaging error, sadly?
Have we used this for #dailyzoo? Because we really should.
