Galaxy Zoo Talk
Holy cow, bright ring around the core and apparently inside the galaxy. Photo error? Says "simulated galaxy"--what gives?
Those blue clusters again. Completely unformed galaxy out on the edge of creation.
Blue color--hot?
Boomerang shape, very bright throughout, odd hot gaseous configuration.
Spectacular blue. Lensing?
Spectacular. How about The Christmas Tree Cluster?
Looks like a tail on the right one too. Very nice image!
Color? Could be error in imaging, but unusual spectrum.
Hot stars? Spectacular.
Stunning, dust cloud or ring?
Two points are probably stars but oddly spaced in relation to galaxy. No bulge. Rather unusual galactic shape.
Perfect loose spiral.
Merging and overlap.
Stunning. A barred spiral out on the edge of Creation....
Merger, very noticeable.
Wow, downward view of satellite galaxies orbiting a larger one. Stunning.
About an 80 degree merger if indeed these are at the same distance.
Now that is a bright one.
Spectacular ornament on the outskirts of creation
Either a weird line up of 4 galaxies, a strange optical phenomenon, or we have something unique here.
Maybe a bit lumpy in the body.
Good looking ring!
Red color. Filmed in different light or just cooler?
Odd central lumps
Beautiful field.
Seems to be a double wing-like ring around it.
Nice multispiral galaxy.
Entirely a bar galaxy, nothing else but a thin ring. Interesting.
Spectacular pinwheel.
Very odd shape, almost a sine wave.
Stunning. Never get tired of what's out at the edge of Creation.
Out on the edge of Creation seems to be two blue spots in a very disturbed region.
Not bright but smeared out blue spots. Obscuring dust?
Unusual chain of bright blue spots. Hot new formations?
Likely merger, spectacular picture.
The Smoke Ring Galaxy
Spectacular field of galaxies. All that space....
Looks like arms without a central nucleus, very irregular. endless variations....
Stars could be artifacts of how the picture was made. But I never get tired of seeing things out on the edge of Creation.
Looks like a huge jet.
Looks like a merger. Spectacular.
Unusual shape, merger likely plus possible outgassing.
Oddly boxy
Hot blue line of gas along "upper" edge
Blue spiral areas
Stunning. The swirl nebula?
Way out on the edge of Creation....
Possible merger, beautiful background. Spectacular.
Blue cloud. Hot early formation?
Spectacular
Triple merger?
Odd blue half to this one. Entirely cloudlike in shape.
Spectacular. They may not be close, but look stunning. The "upward facing arm" of the one on the left is very unusual. A dust cloud maybe?
The edge of creation. Man, that's beautiful.
Unusual two arms stretching on one side, one on the other.
Looks like a jet of dust coming out. Could be object behind it, but looks odd.
Bright blue lumps!
Possible triple merger. If they are close unusual appearance with considerable disturbance.
Magnificent.
I did the central one. But this was a spectacular shot, like something overdone by Hollywood.
This is why we do this sorting. Such beauty out on the edge of creation.
Merger? Spectacular.
Unusual shape, two foci, or more if the orange blob isn't an artifact of the picture.
Looks like a coral atoll.
Very unusual shape, blobs, possible dust lane too.
Spectacular "tailed" galaxy, not a spiral or elliptical at all.
This is all spiral arm, no core, unless the light in the middle is an overexposure. Very unusual shape, the "Snake Galaxy".
Astonishing merger, you can almost hear them crash. Feel lucky to have seen it.
Very spread out arms. Possible refraction error?
Very unusual pattern.
Five in a row? Or is that just chance from background galaxies?
A very unusual ring!
Smooth, but blue clusters evident
Odd blue clustering of objects.
Multiple mergers?
Refractive errors?
Strange "eyeball" appearance. Refractive errors?
Refractive errors or perhaps lensing. Odd appearance with possible merger.
Interesting picture, almost a holiday card arrangement.
Incredible close-up view
Possible debris or dust lane between galaxies.
Spectacular possible merger. Galaxies are symmetrical!
Large blue lumps along one side
Stunning
Four galaxies? Or are they spread out when viewed from other angles?
Four galaxies merging? Or perhaps a gravitational lens effect?
Wow, how about "The Pinwheel Galaxy"?
Third time I've seen this in sequence, last time in a wider field.
Repeat of previous picture, showing a wider field (spectacular). Could be dust lane or merger.
Possible 90 degree collision event
Another beautiful spiral
Wide spread. Dust?
Very unusual dark band entire side length of galaxy
Beautiful
Right angle merger possible
Too fuzzy to tell, may be merger or dust lane.
