Doesn't look like enough disturbance for a merger
I think the blue thing might be a foreground star.
Could it be an #agn as well?
Looks like an edge-on disk to me
Edge-on disk or cigar-shaped smooth galaxy? It's hard to tell sometimes.
Does look like a potential #agn, though
That was my guess. Also looks like something came through and knocked a chunk out of it.
There's another large galaxy at 12:00 in the zoomed out image...if not merging then at least some kind of interaction.
Triple merger? Image is a bit fuzzy.
Unusually blue blob here...I'm a little new to some of the rarer galaxy features, but could this be something like a voorwerp? 😮
Lots of #starformation!
Am I seeing two #dustlane?
Seems like a very dense little cluster! Interesting. 😃
An elliptical with a bar?
Lots of #decals_violet_artifact and #decals_yellow_artifact
Not sure what is going on here...merger? Overlap?
Looks unusually red 😕
Can't decide if this is a disturbed elliptical or an edge-on disk...
Looks like spiral with at least three arms and lots of tidal debris
Wondering about that teal-colored dot to the right...
I think the central one is a galaxy and the brighter one to the left is a foreground star, but I could be wrong.
Looks like two nuclei...end stages of a merger?
Is the blue streak in the lower right just an artifact, or something slightly more exciting?
Doesn't look like there's any interaction between the two IMO. I'd expect to see a lot more tidal activity in a merger.
Very bright nucleus. Is this an AGN candidate? I'm still new to AGNs unfortunately.
Elliptical with dustlane, or just a very diffuse disk? Also thinking it might be a merger though there isn't a huge amount of disturbance.
I'm wondering if there is a galaxy concealed by that foreground star...it sure does look like there's a merger going down here. 😃
I don't see anything that would suggest merging personally...not enough disturbance in any of the galaxies.
Looks like it might be a triple #merger with another yellow/red galaxy in the lower right of the zoomed out image
Oh wow, what is that giant beauty to the right? Is there a way to find out if it has a name? 😮 Gorgeous!
#decals_yellow_artifact, #decals_violet_artifact, #decals_blue_artifact
Faint #dustlane. Does anyone know what exactly such a large central bulge means as far as what's going on in the galaxy?
Looks like a star at 6 o'clock and maybe a background galaxy at 11. The thing at the bottom doesn't appear to be interacting to me.
Some #starforming regions? Pretty little spiral regardless.
Small lens next to the central bulge, or just an overlapping object?
The zoomed out image shows an interesting #ring -like structure around the galaxy.
You can see some interaction with a large, gorgeous galaxy or nebula of some sort in the zoomed out image. Stunning!
Three-way #merger, or just a cluster? 😕
#disturbed #bar #spiral...couldn't find the cause of the disturbance in the viewer, though.
#overlap with a beautifully symmetrical spiral!
Unusual color for an elliptical...
Actual galaxy or something else? There looks to be some kind of faint spiral or something.
The zoomed out image shows the galaxy that #disturbed it...possible #merger, or at least an interaction.
Very #disturbed. Possible #bar?
In zoomed out image, there's some kind of merging or disturbed galaxy to the upper right. Not sure if it's close enough to be interacting.
Strange off-center bulge...
If you check out the zoomed out image, it looks like it could be a merge with the far right object.
I was wondering about that. Ultimately I decided not to mark it as such because it's not very symmetrical and the colors suggest stars to me
Methinks it looks like an #overlap.
Looks like something punched right through the center of the spiral!
Looks like a #merger with a small galaxy to the bottom left
There's another lump of debris in the zoomed out image...trying to figure out if it's the merging galaxy or just debris.
Looks like the object at 5 o'clock might be a foreground star...but could be a merger at the bottom. Galaxy cluster?
A beautiful specimen. 😃
Looks like a merger...also #decals_violet_artifact
You can see much more debris in the zoomed out image, but no nearby neighbors. Maybe the end results of a massive merger?
#edgeon rounded bulge
#boxy #edgeon disk
Merger or overlap?
There's a small red "jet" appearing to come from the center of the galaxy. Just an artifact?
#bar and #ring?
I said 4, but looks like there could be up to 6.
Blue and yellow #artifacts?
I saw it as a (barred?) disk with two loose arms and some kind of central ring. It does sort of look like there are two rings though.
Looks like an #artifact
Looks like lots of little #starforming regions
Is the central galaxy an edge-on disk that has been spun around by the merging one, or just a very loose barred spiral? Gorgeous!
Strange blue smudges at top and bottom. I'm stumped. 😕
I'd say merger, or at the very least some kind of collision. Lots of debris in the zoomed out image.
I marked it as irregular/disturbed, but an argument could be made for a small merger. I think the object is too small for a lens, though.
I was thinking overlap. I'm not seeing a whole lot of debris, but I could be wrong.
Blue bubble-like #artifact upper right
Could this be a merger? Looks like there may be two nuclei there...
Seeing the hint of maybe three spiral arms...but very faint.
#star and #artifact
Highly #disturbed elliptical. 😮
Looks like it could be an #arc. Plus a nifty little purplish #artifact at 5 o'clock.
#disturbed #spiral...maybe with a faint bar?
I see what you mean Ghost. Looks like a normal DECaLS artifact but just black. Very hard to see.
Is that a faint #dustlane at the top?
Is this a merger or simply a large disturbance?
Another decals #artifact
Could the three red dots around the central galaxy be some kind of lens? Or just a weird coincidence?
Weird yellow #artifact
Nice #bar and #ring
Looks like it has some spiral structure (or did at one time) but I can't make out any actual arms. 😕
Gorgeous #ring and #bar
Interesting #bar and faint #spiral
I see a #bar and very faint #spiral
