SDSS pick up asteroids in 3 colour filters dont they?? still its different to anything else ive identified so far =) mmm..
wow, that would be good to locate and identify those 2 then! =) will the RA and DEC point us to a close enough position to find out??
ahhh never mind. Els, by optical artifact do you mean glitch or anomaly? thanks.
#merger ? #supernova ? it looks like the 2 objects are interacting.
#merger
is this a #star with #radiation being emitted, or a #lensflare from sdss, or a #blackhole. Its #beautiful whatever it is !!
#galaxy-cluster ?
top right of the image #merger or #binary stars ? there looks to be 2 stars with 1 disk. #interesting
there are two smaller galaxies or stars infront of both the bigger galaxies. #doubled-up
#merger ? both objects are still very spherical, does this mean its in a very early stage. or could this be something else ?? #interesting
#beautiful clear spiral
#FHB
#toofainttoclassify
red streak above bright orange star, bottom left of the image. #asteroid ??
interesting object, bottom left of the image. Dont know what to think of it..
#star close-up, filter glitch
OK, is that also a #star top right of the image.
yeah i agree, cant really discuss that which we cant tell what it is.
OK thanks, would those 2 objects be further away in the background then.
the top centre #nebula ? galaxy ? #multicolourspectrum..
maybe a very bright and big #star off the left of the image ?
2 visible planets possibly in #orbit around its star??
object to the bottom left #veryfaint #nebula ?? and small faint green object top left..
#nostar ??
#toofainttoclassify very faint but looks like #merger possibly..
#arcs and #lens
#toofainttoclassify is this an ultra deep field image or #FHB? Taken by the Hubble ST.
The object at the top right of the image has caught my eye more than the centre galaxy. #star big and bright !
there is a #irregulartrail on the bottom half of this Galaxy if im correct..
#twoarms or #singlearm ?
Will take me a little time to settle in but will get a grasp for it once I've done a few and read up more on the skyserver.sdss.org site =)
OK thanks for the advice, your definitely helping me out with these =)
I ment hashtag, not classification =) #toofainttoclassify
There are two noticeable objects next to each other, is this a galaxy with a star a lot further away behind and slightly underneath it?
#starcluster and #galaxies ?
#FHB ,this object is fairly unrecognisable so is 'fhb' the right classification??
normal #spiral galaxy?
#spiral galaxies close but not merger??
Would this be a #binary Star system? or #FHB?
stars and 2 galaxies possibly??
