#three-armed #spiral

#ring
#merger ?
three-armed #spiral
#lenticular
i wonder what this would look like in higher resolution
i'd say #ring
#merger
#dustlane ?
#disturbed
#wow
Agree nice spiral, but the object to classify is the small elliptical galaxy in the centre of the picture 😉
i think this is an #overlap, actually the "second bright spot" is the one to classify. only found out after I classified 😄
Reminded me of Superman, maybe that's his galaxy 😃
#lenticular with foreground star
I would guess a #starburst / star forming region
could be a #barred #ring
nice #ring
i dont think so, z indicates that the smaller galaxies are much further away
merger, overlap or disturbed?
#disturbed #elliptical
cant see the merger but a #spiral #edge_on
#edge_on #dustlane
#barred #spiral in nice colors
almost looks as if there are waves around the center
maybe #merger
#barred #spiral #starburst with a small satellite trail
#disturbed #one-armed #spiral #starburst
possible #merger with the little elliptical to the right
have added this to the Galactic faces thread, looks a bit like a shark breaking through the end of our universe... 😃
I'm a bloody amateur, so I took the redshift (z-value) from the skyserver pages. where would I find the 0.075 value?
My guess would be #lenticular
I'd concur on #lenticular
#elliptical galaxy
this one looks weird
#starburst
#barred #spiral #barredspiral
gut feeling this is an #overlap. foreground galaxy has z=15.55/15.70 and the other z=15.85, does this calculate to 1% or 2% further away?
#black_hole 😉

weird #spiral with sort of an elliptical around it, but I would not classify as a lenticular either - any suggestions?
corpse bride : http://www.timburtoncollective.com/images/cbreview2.jpg
dunno, all three seem to have a similar redshift
#starforming #irregular
could be a #merger
nice #spiral
another #censored galaxy
#drymerger
another #lenticular
#barred #ring
Think I got a #lenticular day today
#star
#spiral in the center but weirdly bracketed from the left and right
I think you are right and I posted it into the #lenticular thread. http://www.galaxyzooforum.org/index.php?topic=8369.0
#barred not elliptical
this is a satellite trail, they can be blue, red or green
#barred #spiral
This is likely to be a foreground star
a larger galaxy
always the center, i would classify as star/artefact
nope, this is a star in our galaxy
you are right, these are stars from our galaxy
interesting satellite trail
#overlap
This galaxy was censored by Galaxy Zoo 😉
elliptical with a #bar?
#dustlane
#lenticular or #peculiar ?
just some kind of distortion
nice #barred #spiral
just a faint galaxy
wow, what a catch - I sorted this into my peculiar galaxies
concur, nice catch ... looks a bit like an infinitesimal symbol
definitely a #peculiar one looks like this #spiral has an #elliptic around the center and a faint #bar ... only lacking a dustlane 😉
this looks like a nice little gem 😃 #barred #spiral
satelite trail
interesting ... elliptical or star? (i went for elliptical)
absolutely ... it could 😃 ... and thats how I classified it (I believe)
Not a spiral nor elliptical neither irregular or lenticular ... do we call these #peculiar
nice #polar_ring
Is this elliptical or a spiral? I did conclude neither looking at it.
#barred #spiral with #dustlane
looks like this has a faint ring where the galaxy forms thegem at 11oclock
found a second one http://www.galaxyzoo.org/#/examine/AGZ0003yy9
nice one
i think its a #barred #spiral with loose arms
#irregular galaxy
nothing in the center to classify 😦 nice side view on a spiral though
Thanks, took your advice and posted it in http://www.galaxyzooforum.org/index.php?topic=280635.0
Smiley Galaxy
#disturbed #ring ?
nice #merger
i dont believe the elliptical in the background interacts with the foreground merger. But this is a beautiful picture.
#lenticular or #spiral ?
a real beauty
nice #barred #ring
#lenticular would be my guess
definitely a beauty, I classified as #disturbed #barred #ring as well. Not quite a spiral
yep, its always the middle one ... this pic is a nice catch though
promise I was trying hard ... but this one is an #artifact 😃
maybe merger, but galaxies looked too undisturbed to me
nice #elliptical and anotherone closeby
k, next time I try hard, but with only a few pixels the answers may be quite random
one armed #barred #spiral
i always rate these as stars/artifacts
#beautiful #triple #merger
My guess would be a #spiral, not merger nor Lenticular, which should have a more prominent bulge. but difficult 2 judge with #fuzzy image
this one has some rings on the top ... #artifact?
#smooth with a #bar, could be #lenticular
I'd go with artifact
#Merger I'd agree with. The top buldge has a slight dark area/streak, which may be dust, but not a dustlane in its classical sense
could be #lenticular
There are UFO's, that need traffic lights: http://www.galaxyzoo.org/#/examine/AGZ00060a2
I wonder what the artifact is running north south into the center, starting bright outside and getting darker towards the middle.
i thought at first, but it seems to illuminate the arm of the galaxy. Appears on some observations I found in NED. I think you may be right
I suspect the bright white object @ 10 o'clock could be a #supernova
#barred #spiral #disturbed
how many arms would one quote on this? it appears clearly arms two start in the center, but splitting apart further away from center.
evidence on such a fuzzy picture is difficult. my gut feeling is that this is a spiral
could this be a spiral in their early live? if not I would call it a boxy galaxy.
thanks, that explains it, no galaxy then 😃
is this a smooth galaxy in background? what are the red and green thingies? Stars,Supernovae?
The lower arm looks like cut off and glued on again
I think its a ghostly face 😉
dont think its a #merger but two galaxies with #dustlanes. Just beautiful
I agree, really beatiful merger
God is a woman
looks like it but its a funny view 😃
looks like a nice #smiley
