Looks like a small 'dent' at the bottom of the disk
irregular disc
what goes on in the centre
Nice one!
Looks good, but what are the 'lights' star formation areas?
yes, just this looks a little too large and spherical for the arms.
Any ideas why?
woops, sorry
Bent
#Ringseparation.
I'm reminded of Saturn.
I think I see a merger.
Why is there a ring which is significantly dimmer than the center. Why is there a "gap", and why does the center look like a mini spiral?
Merger at the left side?
#merger.
OK, I see a spiral of 2 arms, but the galaxy bulges right up as if it is spherical despite this. Anything I should know?
A ring, one very loose arm and a possible loose arm at the bottom 9V.Faint)
Possible starburst? And there is a ring.
so why the asymmetry?
looks like a wrecked spiral. Is the bright object at center a coincidental star? or the nucleus of the galaxy.
Possible merger.#merger
one arm seems a bit looser than the other
Bulge less. Seems to have a bar and a ring/pair of arms around it.
Could this be what galaxies look like near the end of a merge. Before they have stabilized but after the initial havoc? #merger
A rectangular bar spiral. Why are the arm ends bent like that?
A large bar with two arms at top and bottom (Very faint). I think that it is almost 90 degrees to us, so we don’t see much of the arms?
ok I can see a bar but no spirals. Just the angle then?
Two arms, the bottom seems to be looser than the top one. It is also disturbed.
oh. Explains a lot, thanks.
Thanks/ Why would it be in three colors like this though?
what is this?
What is this?
Nebula?
Imminent merger?
seems assymetric. Any reason or my imagination
Merger!
there seem to be some clumps from it (top left of galaxy)
It bulges in the middle but there is not main bulge as you see in others
is the bottom one affecting the middle? or just conveniently placed to decieve.
imagination or is it an optical effect/pherical area of stars around the galaxy
well, I could be imagining hings but it seems that the central part is on one plane (like a bar) but the disk is on another. Could it be my
ok. Thanks
seems so
can't be a technical issue... maybe it is unstable?
false coulour?
of course. So the peculiar light show at the centre (where the star is), any reason?
pardon my asking, but what is it?
The galazy disc appears to be elongatged more in one direction than another, and I dont mean its edge on.
tidal debris at top left of the galaxy?
Not been here often. Are rings usual in a spiral like this?
1 armed bar spiral? How come?
I noticed it had a peculiar ring 'attached' to the main object. Is it a nebula? What happened to it?
I'm just not sure what it is...
