#edgeon
#edgeon with #dustlane
Is this an example of an AGN? I was looking at the examples in the help thread and it looks kind of like those.
Seems #disturbed, not sure by what, though. Can't seem to see any other nearby objects on SkyServer.
Barred galaxy with what looks like a disturbed ring?
Possible merger?
#starforming
Well... it says classify the object in the center which I think is a star, but that #edgeon is awesome!
Maybe #dust lane?
#starformation
Disturbed, possible merger?
#Bar spiral, but maybe disturbed? Makes it look like it has a random 3rd arm on the left side 😃
Looks like an irregular blue starforming galaxy overlapping the smaller ones in the center of the image.
I see a slight bar as well, not entirely certain though.
Disturbed, possible #dust
Looks like #dust, maybe?
Looks like NED has it as #UGC 02106.
Looks like an irregular just starting to form a spiral.
NED says it's #NGC 0443, really cool ring galaxy!
The object in the center is an #edgeon disc or spiral, with no bulge.
Is this a #boxy #edgeon? I know they're not very common, but it didn't look very rounded to me!
#starforming?
Maybe a #dust lane?
#bar #ring
Upper arms seem looser than lower ones, possibly disturbed? Small clumps at 12 and 1 o'clock, can't tell if they're related
nice #bar with #ring
#starformation #bar
#dust lane?
Nice #bar, the #ring looks a little asymmetrical, possibly a bit disturbed?
Looks like some #dust there, perhaps
That's what I was wondering too. But it has kind of the same color that a #dust lane would have... maybe?
What's going on here? It looks like an elliptical but combined with an edgeon disc/spiral/ring! I'm stumped.
#bar
#dust lane
A little asymmetrical, perhaps disturbed?
Some interesting orientations of neighboring galaxies and stars around this one... maybe slight lensing??
Maybe merger with the smaller object at 6 o'clock?
Merging or at least disturbed by another galaxy to the right
Small center galaxy possibly merging with the one to the right?
#irregular
#edgeon with possible #dustlane?
Nice #edgeon with #dustlane
Strange shape for a galaxy, looks like a suggestion of a vertical bar but not much else!
Is this #lensing?
#edgeon, maybe with a #dustlane?
#dust ring perhaps?
nice #edgeon, maybe with #dust lane?
Haha, nice. Looks like a pair of cartoon eyeballs 😄
possible #agn??
Obvious #bar is obvious 😃
Nice #edgeon with #dust lane
overlap?
At first I thought it was just an artifact but when I inverted it, there did appear to be an irregular galaxy at the center.
This one looks disturbed, but by what, I wonder?
Is the galaxy disturbed or is that just a result of the star artifacting?
Young-looking galaxy?
Some kind of blue galaxy hiding behind all those stars. 😃
dust lane? or something else? why are there two bulges?
Could that be a dust ring, or just image artifacts?
I know it's rare, but could there be lensing happening here?
