Galaxy Zoo Talk
A lot going on here. Old merger and a new one just beginning.
Starforming regions, disorganized mess really.
Irregular, possible old merger and tidal debris
Nice One. Some tidal debris, possible dust lane, star forming regions. The Works.
Nice double Ring, just need to kick out that foreground star.
Very slightly irregular at about 3 o'clock with a more condensed area.
Post merger deformation?
Just a spiral but looks intense in there.
Field view, wrong size
Nice spiral with an oddball arm stemming from a second center-mass. May be a perfectly placed background artifact but I doubt it.
#spiral with an #inconsistent long arm.
Should be used as textbook example. loose barred spiral
The good old #Double Ring for your viewing enjoyment.
Nice combo meal. #ring and spiral
First looks like artifact with a more distant spiral, closer look in reverse value you can see the artifact not symmetrical&leaning right
Merger? although object on the right appears to be closer.
Possible ring?
almost complete merger with tidal debris?
Nice dust lane, zoom in please....lol
Field View, wrong size
Star on the left is pretty intense, and Blue no less.
Looks like the two are just starting the #merger dance.
Well organized ring with a tail or two.
Any Ideas? Not sure how to classify this. Dust cloud? Star forming region?
Dirty Ring
Messy collision.
Just a fun pic.
Irregular and possibly some tidal debris
Close neighbors, but no interaction.
Starforming region, but no real organized center mass.
Almost looks like a merger, but I think its just a overlap.

Irregular spiral
Irregular spiral. Tidal debris from an old merger?
Irregular and starforming
Busy photo
Close proximity, but no merger yet
Just a nice spiral.
My kneejerk is merger but the target doesn't seem all that distorted. Close overlap? Future merger?
Edge on with no apparent bulge. Perimeter flair a bit.
Irregular Spiral. Want to see a 3-d model of this one to see if the arms are on the same plane.
Disturbed spiral and want to say an old merger that has not fully reorganized yet.
Target doesn't seem irregular but the satellite galaxy sure is.
Cool Merger and one long tail. Still has irregular center mass.
Disturbed spiral in post merge reorganization state?
Ring but very diffuse. Always difficult to judge size, but looks very wide. Old Galaxy?
The two look close, but don't seem to be interacting yet.
Nice spiral with quite a few arms.
My eyes want there to be the beginnings of a merger here, but wont fully commit to it.
Nice merger
Nice distant disk with perfectly spaced local stars. Fun Pic.
Nice slightly irregular spiral.
Possible merger, but the horizontal disk doesn't seem disturbed enough. Overlap?
Nice Ring
Starforming ring
Disturbed spiral
Okay I give on this one. Spiral, check, but after that, wow.
Starforming disturbed disk. Something frisky went on here.
Slightly disturbed at the 6 o'clock. Tight spiral.
Smooth with a tail or just distant disk with overlap?
Nice spiral with the bottom arm splitting into two. Almost the superman logo. Fun
Ordinary disk with a smooth at a different depth or something more bizarre?
Smooth with a tail hanging out the bottom. No signs of a merger though.
Merger
Double ring and overlap.
As seen through the paned window... Wrong Size
Background is really busy. Also interesting line of galaxies to the 5 O'clock
Nice merger.
Second look anyone?
Target is boring, but the artifact at 11 o'clock looks like it has a ring.
Can you see a smiley face too or have I been looking at the screen too long...
Beastley center with ring
disturbed and starforming areas
Double Ring?
Disc with centermass outgassing perpendicular to the disc.
Center is irregular. not spirals per say more like waves as the centermass rotates. Merger almost complete?
Disturbed Bar Ring
Possible old merger?
Needs a second look by better trained eyes
Whispy low mass galaxy.
Looks like a very distant merger.
Needs a second look. Old Merger with an artifact at a different depth?
Target is rather boring, but a nice merger behind it.
Hurry, everyone into the dust cloud. Fun overlap, but what's going on behind the dust cloud looks interesting.
Nice Spiral. That arm on the left seems to be being pulled away from the center irregularly.
Sweet. Love it when a cool one pops up. Dust line through edge on disc.
Resistance is futile. Merger in progress
Worth a second look.
Nice bar and dust ring with an oddball arm hanging out the top. Possible old merger.
Speed Kills.... messed up spirals after a merger.
These two appear to be beginning their tug of war.
Looks like the very beginings of a merger, the center mass of the larger just starting to be influenced by the smaller one.
Odd shading on this photo and some larger ring intersecting the target body creating irregular amount of light.
Needs a second look. Odd shaped and tough to classify.
Nice old merger.
Edgeon with issues? Oddball.
This one is worth a second look. #secondlook
Center is very dominant and defined.
Flairs out at the ends. Side view edge on. Invert colors and can really see the flaired perimeter.
Normal puffball, but its centermass is not so much in the center. Overlapping a galaxy behind it?
...and the space worms forever intertwined rose from the stardust.
Very cool merger. Looks like two well defined spirals collided. #Spider-Like
Mat be worth a look for a set of better trained eyes.
Dusty young spiral
Looks like an old collision of two small galaxies.
Looks very closely clustered together.
This one needs a second look by better trained eyes.
Perpendicular merger at some point?
More interested in what's going on with the star in the lower part of the photo.
What a lazy galaxy. Low energy mass.
So happy together...
Oddball photo. Not sure what is going on in this one.
Looks like a general field photo.
This looks to be a merger that is nearing completion. Still a bit unorganized but sorting itself out.
Nice! Center mass very defined considering the edge view. Love to see this one enhanced.
A lot going on in this photo as well. Irregular shape.
Rather irregular arms nearly straight on the upper part of the photo. Worth a second look by better trained eyes.
Cool low mass spiral...
#oddity Not sure what we have here. The bright object appears to be in front of the wannabee galaxy.
#merger two small blues hooking up. Lots of tail debris.
Well developed for being that distant.
To be that bright at that distance...
#dustlane A dist lane, but have not seen one yet with this orientation.
Beautiful galaxy, new stars, blue, but note the interaction of the two galaxies on the left side of the frame, now thats not a happy place.
A very odd shaped galaxy. No organization or established centermass. Another blue one. #blue #distorted
Not quite sure what to make of this one. Possible collision?
Galaxy with a dust problem?
A very low mass or very old galaxy. Not much here.
#tails The tails on this one seem to be abnormally long.
#merger Looks like these two just got together.
#oddity Looks like a cone of something coming up from the central mass. The bright cluster towards the edge of the galaxy at 10 o'clock
#collision Looks like the big brother is pulling the little one in...
#collision Looks to possibly have remanants of a collision.
#oddity Could be a blue hued galaxy far beyond the apparent star just off the frame to the right.
#ring This one is a bit odd with what looks like a ring. Also note the possible jets in its lower left.
kind of an oddball. Not much too this galaxy
#Merger ??
Anyone else see the black circle below the center of the frame? Just looks odd.
Totally agree PMJ.
Very little organization at all here. Newly forming galaxy?
Green Lantern again.
Not much left in this galaxy. Blue clusters and little dust. Old galaxy?
Looks like the neighbors are having a party. Arc and collision remanant?
Way out there, but well organized without a central bulge.
Looks like a low mass galaxy.
Odd colored one.
Looks like follow the leader. Worth a look. #oddity
Whatever it is, it is very large, undefined and way out there...
Uncommon clusters in the arms and the overall color is different from norm. Perhaps a very old galaxy.
The right side (in this frame) seems to have an abnormally straight cutoff line.
Kind of a joke of a galaxy here... Very faint and unorganized.
Long tails and lots of dust. Old collision?
WHatever it is, it is fading into the background way way out there. ossible disk on an 80 degree slant.
One leg of the spiral looks to have considerably more to it than the rest. Makes me think old collision.
Looks like these two got together in a hurry. Long dust trail.
Looks to be very very distant and in its infancy.
Distant spiral with two legs... #oddity
Very distant very old spiral although its centermass doesn't look too intimidating.
Looks like a collision, but the two don;t really appear to be interacting.
Looks to have a faint ring. #ring
Nice two legged spiral, just wanted to note the star in this frame.
Way out there...
Kind of an oddball here. Looks like a faint blue arm rising from the centermass. Overall very faint galaxy?
Nice quiet spiral. Great place for a beach home.
Looks to be an old merger, but may be a faint spiral with another galaxy behind. #oddity
Green Lantern again. #oddity
Seems abnormally 'alone' Also has some bright star clusters above and below center.
#oddity Makes me wonder if somewhere in there is a black hole asking were all its food went???
Worth a look. Just a newbie here, but looks like a really dusty and young galaxy forming. #oddity
That's one dirty galaxy. #dust
Old ring and odd coloration on the object to the 10 o'clock of center.
Looks like a third is moving in on the twosome. #oddity Probably not the friendliest location in the universe.
This frame has the nice odd galaxy and the blue dot. Is the white the ends of tidal arms?
Nice ring around this one. #ring
Any answer for the green streak? Green Lantern on vaca?
Is the dimmer mass near the strong center mass an object behind the centered object? Doesn't appear to be distorting the core.
With frames like this, what is a typical response? Better yet, what would an expert say to this one?
Two sprials in this frame.
May have been reading a little too much into this one.
This object must be way out there. Not a lot to go on.
The objet at about 1 o'clock from the cenetered galaxy is worth a second look. Very bright and looks to be a merger of some type.
Significantly brighter than anything else in the field. Supernova?
The center mass on this one appears darker in color and considerably more defined tham most I have seen.
A lot going on here. Old merger and a new one just beginning.
