Galaxy Zoo Talk
This green star is so ... green ... it must not be easy being this star...
Looks like a nebula to me.
Not sure what this is.
I wish I could see more of this beautiful galaxy.
Am I looking at a comet?
Love this S shaped galaxy.
Looks like a spinning cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rawhhr!
One galaxy slightly kissing another.
Another cool galaxy with no bar. I see three spirals - the one in the back might be faint but it's there.
Really a beautiful galaxy. I wish I knew what that other galaxy holds as secrets...
Merge or overlap?
This looks like a cool ring.
This either looks like a galactic merger or a nebula with a black hole nearby.
What is up with these green screens?
Another cosmic green screen.
Looks like a galactic merger. I heard our Milky Way Galaxy will merge with Andromeda in about 4 billion years.
This is an interesting galaxy. There is no bar and no spirals.
Another green screen floating in the expanse of space. How did they make this green screen light years wide?
This is a truly different and interesting galaxy.
This looks like a nebula.
Sometimes, WOW, I come across some very beautiful images.
I think that is a giant 1000 light year across letter S from another giant Starbucks sign from another universe.
Simply beautiful.
Another cosmic TIE fighter!
This is awesome! There is such a nice spiral.
OK, - wow- I have never seen anything like this before on this site. It looks like a cool TIE fighter in a soda straw!
I can barely see a bar galaxy with two spiral arms. Maybe I have been doing this too long a stretch.
Another Deity Eye! This sparks my imagination as I can imagine this the beginning of a solar system or the death of a star.
A most perfect S galaxy.
If you look closely, you can see the eye of God ... and it's beautiful.
I am not sure what this is. If I am not sure what this is I will assume it's a nebula.
Sometimes you come across some real gems. I do love looking at beautiful galaxies - so many stars in one place - organized.
I am not sure if this a galaxy... Maybe it could be a UFO. LOL I am just kidding - beautiful galaxy. The most crisp one I have seen so far.
This looks like a beautiful yellow ball in the middle of a giant, glowing rubber disc.
OK, they have GOT to add in a selection of "galaxies merging" into the mix. This is one of the most interesting pics I have seen yet.
I would like to think this beautiful galaxy has a HUGE star in one of the spiral arms. A huge red giant light years across ... imagine!
I see a ring.
I thought this was a ring until I noticed that it looks more like a bar galaxy with two spiral tails. Can you see it?
Another edge on galaxy with a slight dust lane.
This really does look like a TIE fighter. ||-o-|| Raawhr!
I found a field of cosmic doughnuts!
This looks like a giant cosmic coma. I sure l do love looking at these cosmic objects. On day I will see a 😃 one day...
This looks like a supernova a few thousand years later.
I wish they could put an option for overexposed stars that look like one color circle superimposed over another circle of another color.
I selected all the boxes as a tag to get this giant green mistake out of the mix.
This looks like another cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rawhrr!
Not sure if I am looking at the tail end of a comet or the edge of a galaxy.
When viewing these galaxies edge on, I have to imagine how many countless worlds with strange and wonderful alien environments.
This looks more like another cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rahhwwr!
I do like this picture however I saw this as edge on.
I do like this galaxy. I don't see a merger, however.
Bar galaxy with no swirly arms. This looks like another cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rawhhrr!
Bar galaxy with two spiral arms.
This galaxy is edge on to us. Beautiful picture with good resolution.
This looks like a particle stream or it more looks like the ray from another object as a result of the camera.
Another cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rawhhrr!
Nice galactic merger!
I do like this cosmic TIE fighter. /-o-/ Rahhrr!
This looks like a TIE fighter again! This is what I call bar galaxies with no spiral. Rahhrrr! (-o-)
Another cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rahhrr!
This looks like a bar galaxy to me. What does everyone else think?
I wish they would input new options for identifying galaxies. I wish they would have one button for bar galaxy with a spiral in one click.
I see a bar galaxy with 2 spiral arms. What do others think?
I like this 3 spiral arm galaxy. I have not seen a three spiral arm galaxy so clear so far.
From what I can determine, this is a 2 spiral, no bar, slight bulge galaxy. This spiral is so clear.
Looks like a merging!
Not sure about this - 90% sure it's a bar galaxy.
There looks to be two galaxies merging or something.
I really like this one! There seems to be a ring tightly around the center with two beautiful spiral arms.
Looks like a fusion of two galaxies.
This looks like two galaxies merging or just one in front of the other.
I have found a HUGE block of jello in the cosmos!
I like this one! Collected!
I found another TIE fighter galaxy! (-o-) Whhhhoooerrrgh!
What on earth is this? I almost looks like an asteroid with a crater in the middle of it. Maybe it's a lensing effect.
It seems like something came through THIS galaxy and ripped it apart.
I wonder what these rings are. Does anyone know why I see rings once in a while? Are these the result of a supernova?
This is definitely an interesting galaxy with a ring around the middle bulge.
Is this a galaxy with a ring around it, a proto solar system or a lensing effect of gravity around a large star? I honestly do not know.
That looks like a particle stream above and below this object.
I am not quit sure what this is. It looks like the end result of two galaxies effecting each other.
There seems to be quit a merging of two galaxies...
Is this a comet or a nebula? "Epic to see the rest of it, thank you Elizabeth B!" -E C Williamson TY - I will check it out.
I found another TIE fighter galaxy! (-o-) Rahhhrr!
I wonder how far away this galaxy is. How far is this thing, anyways? Is there a way to tell how far away this galaxy is?
Once in a while I get to see some beautiful pictures. Am I the first person to see this other than someone who has phd next to their name?
I see two spiral arms barely. I hope my judgement is justified here.
This looks so much like he example of this object! LOL
This looks like a comet or something. Is this really a galaxy on it's edge or is it a dust cloud? I am so conflicted at these cosmic drama!
This is why I do this for an hour on end. This is just beautiful! I have a problem identifying it as there is no check box for "nebula".
Is this a galaxy with a tear drop shaped spiral arm?
Seems like I found another cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rahwwrrr!
I thought the smudge above this edge on galaxy is a comet too.
This looks like a cosmic TIE fighter! (-o-) Rawwwwrrrr!
I see a slight, slight spiral in this 'maybe galaxy' (what I call them).
This looks like a cosmic question mark.
Not sure what I am looking at. Is this a swatch of green from a fashion show? Could it be a the top view of a perfectly manicured lawn?
What is that shadow on the top of the object?
This looks like a triangle.
I find this oddly beautiful.
I think I found a HUGE green nebula the size of a perfect square.
This looks like a ring in a ring. This may be the remnants of a supernova. What does everyone else thing?
It seems like this galaxy is coming apart!
Could this be a proto-solar system? I cannot tell how wide this object is ...
This looks to be a galaxy, however, I could be wrong.
This almost looks like a tin can composed of gas. What does anyone else think? It looks like to me a disc of gas that has moved, leaving gas
