Does this image show a long "tail" trailing to the left and down from the galaxy? Or is this feature a lens effect or something else?
I see a straight line of light from the smaller galaxy on the left to the larger galaxy. What is this? Are they merging?
This could be an example of two or even three galaxies merging. I'd like to hear other opinions, please....
The tiny squares and bright colours are confusing. There might be two galaxies there but the shapes are very indistinct.
