could be star forming regions, new blue stars
#bar Not sure what to do about this, looks like a long central bar in galaxy, but not edge on spiral
#oddcenter This galaxy sure has an odd center to it--not sure why
I think it is just a pixelation mark, lots of the stars seem to have that dark bar or spot
I know, this is a wild one!
OK, I see a lot like this now, is it smooth, in between with the oddity of a ring, or, a spiral with arms (2)
really odd, is there a huge star behind this?
edge on, rounded center, dust lane oddity
I think I would have done smooth, in between, oddity being a ring--basically same thing I guess
This is a cool barred galaxy
Here is an interesting #merger
This is my pretty so far (LOTS of stars/artifacts tonite), nice #merger here
I would say smooth, in between, nothing odd. Believe the bright spot on it is a star
wow, that is cool, almost looks like a merger over the top and a long tidal debris on the left side
This is kinda cool with rings
cool star formation in center of galaxy!
ha ha ha, space donuts!!! Cool photo of "stars or artifacts"
or smooth cigar shaped, with no "oddities"
now I would classify that as 'smooth, in between' and then I would invert it to see if there was any tidal action, if not, then click done
it does, doesn't it?
it could be a small companion galaxy, doesn't seem to be merging
some of the Hubble ones are, I think because it is taking photos so far out in the universe
wow, that is a multi armed barred spiral isn't it?
this is cool looking!! #merger
to me it looks like 3 galaxies, two colliding in the foreground and one 2 armed spiral in the background
wow, cool #merger!
looks like it could be a dust lane
yes, usually the stars have little twinkles around them, most times anyway. Galaxies tend to be a bit more fuzzy around the edges
I think I did classify it that way, could not tell if there was a edge on galaxy tho with red part shooting out center, thanks
I don't think it is anything other than a camera flair, but sure looks cool and centered on that #spiral!
yep, looks like a smooth, in between type to me
Bumping this up, any ideas? Looks like a star on the far right out of photo, and maybe an edge on galaxy up/down, with red galaxy behind it?
what is this? I know a star is on far right off view, but is this edge on galaxy with a red galaxy behind it?
oh bummer, I looked at the other photo of it and it was still there, oh well, nice thot anyway
I don't know how to post it to the forums, I tried on another photo and never could get it to work
I just pulled it out of my favs, and blew it up 400% and it does have an orangy, bluey, greeny coloration, cool #supernova ???
Well if it is, I hope they name it after me than, supernova veegee!! lol I am a novice at this, so, ???
Beats me, can't see it well enough, I figure it is probably the core of the merging galaxy, be nice if it was a brand new supernova!
Here is a nice looking '6' galaxy!
wow, that is cool
This is cool, lot of star formation here.
Sure might be--looks like it to me.
now I would have classified that due to what seems like a core and substance around it
I have seen quite a few stars tonite, some obvious, others like this and I may have classifed a few as galaxies 😦
alien morse code 😃
This is an odd one, looks like the entire galaxy is exploding!
This is rather odd looking, haven't seen one like this before with the small reflections around it and then the larger ones
