Merger between the two objects near center?
Ok, star on the left, but what's the cloud to the right of the star?
Is there a star between us and this galaxy? There's a spot near the core of the galaxy.
Star, right? I think this because of the massive core that shows up nearly black on the negative. Is this correct thinking? Am I way off?
What am I supposed to do with this? The middle body looks like a star, but how do I verify that?
How do I tell the difference? I was under the impression that stars make artifacts. This is clearly not the case.
Shouldn't there be artifacts around them?
Arms around a ring? Does the ring flatten into a bar eventually? Now I've got to look that up.
This doesn't look like a merger to me. What could the gas trailing on the top of the picture be caused by?
Is this an example of a "clumpy" galaxy viewed on edge?
Beautiful, but it looks like this is just a field with a star at the focus.
Is this a series of galaxies that appear to be overlapping?
What is this? Tiny dot is the subject, I'm assuming, but it's so washed out by the object on the left.
That is an amazing bar, so much more contrasted than most.
What are the long spikes of light coming out towards the bottom left and top left?
I've run into several objects that I can't classify as mergers. Why is this?
Looks like a spiral galaxy with an arm or two missing. It is not as symmetrical as I'd expect.
