Galaxy Zoo Talk
I haven't seen one like this yet. Very clumpy with a poorly formed spiral structure.
Wow!! Something big is going on here!
Another example of a merger with evidence of the galaxies perhaps being "disturbed".
Looking closely, I actually think that these two galaxies are interacting. If so, it's a very beautiful and interesting merger.
I have no idea what this is. It looks pretty odd.
An obvious example of a merger. Both galaxies are heavily disturbed with tidal debris apparent.
Pretty interesting object. There is some degree of spiral structure here, but it looks pretty disturbed.
This definately looks like a merger to me. Possibly all three nuclei are involved.
This one has a really obvious and striking dust lane. No obvious sign of a spiral structure--at least no to my eye.
This looks exactly like a planetary nebula, which is a dying star that sheds off its outer gas shell leaving behind a white dwarf star.
Looks like arcing around the central galaxy. Gravity lensing?
Nice find. Definately looks like a merger with both showing some tidal trails.
If it's a star, would it be a foreground star, or could it (maybe) be a supernova in the galaxy?
Not sure if the bright features are in the foreground or are interacting. What is the bright spot in the spiral arm?
It seems that there are clumps in orbit around the center. Could these be proto-spiral arms??
Seems to have a bar of some sort. Also has spiral arms and an inner ring feature. Very fascinating!
Strange object above galaxy. Jet?
This galaxy has a kind of halo feature. Could be elliptical, but looks like it could have a disc.
Beautiful spiral/ring combo.
Two clumps, one inside the primary galaxy, the other is outside but interacting.
I'm not sure what object I am supposed to even evaluate! Nothing here really looks much like a galaxy.
Barred ring galaxy?
This is obviously a classic barred spiral, but what is that really bright spot on one of the arms? Is it a foreground object?
What's that strange purple thing next to the galaxy??
This appears to be a ring galaxy.
Although this looks like an ordinary elloptical at first glance, the regions of varying brightness are pretty fascinating.
I can almost imagine there to be a counter-clockwise spiral of red pixels. Could this be a spiral?
Are these interacting? Or just a chance alignment?
This could be more than just a chance alignment. Looks awfully odd. What are the bright globes that are above and below the central object?
Although there isn't any obvious spiral pattern, there is something that looks a lot like a dust lane ring. Interesting!
Fascinating object! Could this be a spiral in early stages of formation??
