double ring forming?
a nice 6 arm spiral. encounter victim?
upper 'dining' on lower? or reverse.
what made this?
an interesting and likely ongoing merger.
a ring precurser?
victim of hit and run!!??
a close encounter.
looks like an egg.
interesting merger.
a spiral with an x on top and a broken arm lower right. another close encounter,or merger?
looks like a two-armed spiral, that has been disturbed; creating a third arm.
odd pattern for the 'blue' stars.
something disturbed the right arm; likely a passing galaxy.
several black holes affecting shape,etc?
another 'early' ring.
looks like broken rings,disturbed somehow?
smaller, upper right galaxy is being 'funneled' into the central one; which has a more powerful black hole. note the movement of upper b.h.
another close encounter; merger?
a likely merger, given the two black holes.
as the middle galaxy appears undisturbed,is the upper disturbed by something else?
looks like a comet, with a bent tail. just how far away is this?
the start of a spiral?
looks like one long arm, that makes an oval. possibly disturbed by another gone by ?
the beginning of a ring?
the two middle interacting with the two(?) upper left. the galaxies to the left of these also interacting; but appear farther away.
middle galaxy appears to have a 'fan' of stars,in the direction of the galaxy lower right.
nice looking merger. bottom right one appears to be line of sight, likely farther away.
a disturbed ring?; or one forming?
as the inside also forms a ring,we have a double ring!!!
another precursor to a ring galaxy?
so, did a black hole go through the left end of this galaxy, stealing stars, and leaving this disturbed?
another strange galaxy. a near miss by another?
looks like what is left after another galaxy went by. what happened to the other stars?
the one on the left looks to be 'absorbed' by the one on the right.
the target galaxy is not affected. however, the two upper right surely are!!
okay, so what is (has) happening (...ed) here???!!! Can anybody explain this one?
a ring galaxy,with a tail!
another victim of a close encounter. is this how spirals are started?
with no disturbance(seemingly) to the lower galaxy; again a line of sight feature? looks like a 'ufo'.
the oval galaxy appears to be on top of the other. most likely line of sight.
is the upper smaller 'ball' what is dictating the shape of this?
another ring precursor?
interesting merger, with tails on both sides.
another triple(at least) get together?
the beginnings of a ring galaxy?
is this image superimposed over another; or is it the real thing?
line of sight,or 3 galaxies merging?
both galaxies are in the middle. they do not appear to be merging. which one should i classify?
a ring galaxy,disturbed bottom right.
this galaxy appears to be changing from a four armed spiral ,into a ring galaxy. for an added bonus, a bar runs through the middle.
