Probably not a voorwerp as there's blue star bursting sign.
#barred #spiral
#dustlane #green patch
Probably a big #spiral with a lot of clumpy clusters or inclusions
A distant #barred spiral. Arms beyond visibility threshold. Without the bar the spiral wouldn't be apparentt.
I see this as a distant spiral with a #bar . I've seen many with arms at the threshold of visibility. Without a bar you wouldn't know.
#overlap or #merger of two very distant galaxies
Possible #firehose instability
#starforming regions as small clumps
yes
#asteroid
#overlap
#starforming
#AGN in #eliptical
#AGN
#starforming ?
#merger of two galaxies nearly complete. Cores in tight orbit. No starforming color so either ellipticals or very far away.
Now that's an #artifact
#starforming at ends of spiral arms. Mergers and #collision of galaxies often triggers waves of star formation as nebulae are disturbed.
Obviously a spiral, but no detail to speak of. Still waiting for #JWST
#dustlane
too far away to resolve the arms but it has to be spiral
This is a spiral just at the threshold of detectability. Any further away and I'd classify it "smooth". Just Wait for Spitzer I guess.
#merger
A #merger of #ellipticals ?
This is some sort of #distant #starforming spiral galaxy.
A #chain of galaxies or just wierdly coincidental overlapping?
#starforming disk seen on edge
#dustlane #starforming
#starforming cluster
I have no idea how people figurue out the SDSS numberor the redshift z factor.
#ring
#bar #spiral
Not an but the symmetry is suspicious
Extreme #starforming
Center galaxy seems to have a #ring
Beautiful #irregular #merger
#distant spiral
Looks like a #ring
#disturbed
too #distant to classify
me either.
I was wondering the same thing. This makes me think so many of these "smooth" galaxies are probably just too distant to see any detail.
I don't know how true the colors are on any of these galaxies but this is a lovely #starforming blue. I wish there was still a "clumpy" opt
I think it is. The two have completely intermixed but the nuclei are still separate.
Merger of at least four galaxies.
Huge bar
Bar in a smooth galaxy? Don't think I've ever seen that.
Rings are so rare, even when there's nothing else remarkable about the galaxy it makes you feel like you're looking at something special.
Looks like this contains a three-armed bar, along with the blue clusters/star-forming regions. #triskelion
#corpuscles
Where did the #clumpy classification attribute go?
looks like a spiral that was disturbed by the passage of another galaxy, presumably the one in the lower left corner of the image
