Galaxy Zoo Talk
notable forefround AGN
interacting spirals aboiut to merge
seems to be a whispy galaxy partially obscured by stars
disturbed spiral
darker spots top and bottom
prominent blue nucleus
merger or overlap?
image incomplete
Interesting colours
There seem to be three or even four arms, the top two somewhat disturbed, whether by the other alaxy or not.
Hard to read.
unusual colours
Or the elluiptical is partly obscuring a merger furtrher away from us/
Something odd at bottom right.
Hard to decide. Looks like one galaxy partly obscuring aniother.
Merger
Artefacts involved? Puzzling.
curious
Not sue what to make of this. there is a yeloow arc at the top.
merger?
A most unusual image,
Spiral features close to nucleus.
Suggestions of spirality close to the nucleus.
Extraordinary green ring.
blue elliptical?
I was about to correct my post and say 'red star on green star'. The green effect is certainly remarkable.
It's almost like a multiple overlap – red galaxy on greenish galaxy on grey galaxy — but if so, then the accidental line-up is amazing!
I think perhaps there's a lens here – blue on the right, greenish on the left. Also a short dust lane. SDSS ObjectId: 1237679168231768226
Between the central objects and the edge of the frame there appears to be a finely-drawn oval ring of matter, in various colours.
No idea what these colours signify.
One of the more interesting objects I've been given to classify. I went for edge-on with a tidal tail, but could be a wide spiral arm.
Curious image
Unusual colours for clumps. Merging disks?
If you go to Navigate and zoom out it appears that the green is some kind of artefact common to all the images in the field.
Extremely bright nucleus.
Galaxy doubly ringed, possibly spiral, with a partially obscured nucleus.
Noteworthy
Not sure what to make of this — hurts my eyes to stare at it for too long!
Unusually bright nucleus.
I classified this a a merger. The most interesting object I've seen for some while.
