Appears to be elliptical ringed by #shockwave approaching its halo.
Strange blue ring encircling elliptical. Could be shock wave from past central black hole activity?
Green object at 7 o'clock. May be flaring green pea in background...
Irregular galaxy, dusty, tidal trails - functions in previous frames not working.
What appears to be a tidal trail at right edge of elliptical may be background galaxy.
Spiral arms broken up by dust or past merger.
Faint traces of dust and/or spiral arms beginning to form.
White objects radiating at 2 o'clock and at 6. Gas clouds? Remnants of merging spiral eaten by main galaxy (yellow elliptical)?
Elliptical or 3/4 view spiral. May have dust lane between 270 and 0 degrees.
Elliptical may have 1 to 3 satellites.
Spiral beginning to overlap elliptical in galaxy merger.
Center of elliptical may be flaring.
Image has centered on foreground star.
Very irregular object. Either planetary nebula or very dusty, gassy galaxy. Orange object at 8 o'clock is probably background galaxy.
2 objects at 12 and at 3. Could be background galaxies. Elliptical with 2 to 3 rings (layers) to its shell.
Difficult to tell if this is a dusty spiral or a planetary nebula.
Loosely defined spiral arms, possibly a lot of dust.
Very dusty spiral?
Bright center. Active black hole?
Very fuzzy near-edge on spiral? with what looks like 3 or 4 satellite galaxies.
2 or 3? rings encircling central bulge of pre-spiral? or pre-elliptical after merger?
Possible spiral arms beginning to form.
Center is slightly offset. Could be two small merging ellipticals.
Planetary nebula or supernova relic. I can never tell the difference.
Correction: very bright core although 'tight' works too.
Very tight core with a huge halo elliptical. Could this be an active black hole?
Tidal debris just outside of right arm. Resembles another arm yet offset to the right by one quarter of the diameter of the galaxy.
White diagonal object either a flare, a foreground galaxy/gas cloud in front of yellow coloured elliptical.
Green pea galaxy flaring at 8 o'clock??
Appears to be tidal debris at 6 o'clock.
Could be 2 spiral arms forming?
Many galaxies like this. Are they spirals on edge or cigar-shaped ellipticals. Blurry image makes it difficult. I default to elliptical.
Large #ring encircling elliptical galaxy.
early formation of spiral arms?
Green pea galaxy at 5:00 to main galaxy??
Spiral arms appear broken. Very dusty.
Correction, appears to be 3 spiral arms.
May be tidal trail at 6 o'clock from passing or merging galaxy or flare from center of this galaxy
Blurry, appears to be 3 spirals.
Stellar nebula or supernova relic?
Stellar nebula? Supernova remnant? Red star off-center perhaps twin of non-visible left in the center...
Blurry, could be two spirals developing.
Two or three spirals merging, extreme amount of tidal debris
Blurry image, could be a merger, very irregular.
There is no galaxy visible in the center of the image.
Lob-sided center.
To the lower right hand side of the galaxy a green line is visible. Very difficult to distinguish what it is.
Very blurry. Arms barely visible.
Could be two galaxies merging? One spiral arm noticeable and irregular central bulge.
Part of a cluster of perhaps 15 galaxies?
Very blurry photo.
Tidal debris around edge?
Two smaller elliptical galaxies merging?
Irregular galaxy? Gas cloud..?
Not sure if that's a proto-arm or an illusion at S end of galaxy. I classed it as one armed.
Could be 2 galaxies in the process of eventually merging or binary? galaxies.
Small satellite galaxy or reflection to SE.
...at edge of photo.
That could be a jet reflected off an H cloud around it or a small sattelite with a larger sattelite to the left at edge of ph
Looks a bit like a proto-disc seen on edge in 3/4 view but with no arms.
Would this be a cigar-shaped elliptical or a soon-to-be spiral on it's edge?
2 smaller almost identical elipticals orbiting larger eliptical
you can see the arm of the spiral on the right getting pulled apart as it stretches towards the elliptical as the 2 galaxies merge.
1a supernova eclipsing elliptical galaxy?
loose star globular cluster?
coalescing ellipticals...? maybe that's how spirals began.
very distant methinks. lots of gas with star/galaxy formation?
looks like an orange foreground star, a massive dust cloud also in front of elliptical galaxy and maybe in front of star too.
looks like 2 smaller ellipticals, top and bottom, are in orbit or ready to collide
looks elliptical but upon closer investigation i can see a faint spiral arm or two
Is that orange object a foreground star to the SE of the galaxy?
There is a very small elliptical to the west and I'm not sure of the blue object to the NNE.
Are those 2 small ellipticals to the east and south-east in orbit?
Looks like an older jet being ejected slightly towards us and slightly away from us. Not very strong but some distance away from the core.
There's green gaseous ring to the east of this elliptical galaxy. Don't know if there is any association.
