CGCG 229-003 #spiral
very nice #barred #spiral
#irregular
#spiral
disk is distorted.
Nice dust lane
Definitely a #merger.
a #barred #spiral galaxy with no visible center, or is this the result of a merger that looks like a barred galaxy
#merger
#barred #spiral
NGC 7840
Dust lanes and star forming regions. No apparent bulge.
Classic #elliptical
Textbook #spiral
#spiral CGCG 147-026
One of the most irregular objects
#spiral #barred IC 1338
Stars are more diffuse in the outer regions than usual. A more sudden drop off of star population.
Not clear what this is. Have seen other images with this pattern of 'pearls' of objects.
Two galaxies in same frame. One #spiral, one #elliptical Doesn't look like a merger
Spiral arms are not distinct. Definite star forming regions. The disc is not flat.
#cluster #spiral in upper right. Count 6 galaxies in frame
#spiral Possible companion galaxy?
Just barely a spiral. Star formation visible.
Definite #merger
Possibly two galaxies merging?
#spiral shape almost gone. Appears to have a companion galaxy. Star formation visible.
Is this a galaxy, or two, or something else like a fast moving star?
Is this a star field?
Possible #merger
Strange shape. Three 'galactic' centers?
Possible local group. Several galaxies in frame.
possible #merger. one galaxy distorted. At least 3 in frame.
Possible companion galaxy #bar #spiral
Must be man made
Just barely still a #spiral
Possibly a merger
Tiny galaxy. Possibly two, one elliptical, one spiral
Not sure if this a cluster of stars or a cluster of galaxies
Several galaxies in frame
Frame has a lot of galaxies. Two center galaxies might be merging.
Nice edge on galaxy. Smaller edge on in frame. UGC 05194
gossamer galaxy
Definitely a merger #Merger
Nice simple ring
Two galaxies in the frame, one face on, one almost edge on. Cataloged face on galaxy
Possibly another tiny galaxy in the frame.
With such detail, this can't be a new galaxy. Looks like M106.
A second galaxy is in the frame.
Odd structures.
Barely a galaxy.
Two other galaxies in frame.
Appears to have several broken spiral arm segments.
Nice detail.
Two galaxies in frame.
Very odd shape. Possible merger.
Two edge on galaxies in frame.
Multiple galaxies in frame.
More than one galaxy in frame.
Possible jet, up and left, or an artifact from an off frame star.
Two galaxies with detail. One small galaxy to right. One tiny galaxy at right edge. Possibly more in lower right.
Many small structures a good distance from the main body.
Unusual shape
Most unusual shape.
Two galaxies in the frame. One appears to be distorted.
Two more galaxies in the frame.
Two distinct galaxies in the frame
Galaxy has a distinct 'tail' going N.
Classification for the smaller, more distinct galaxy. The center object is an elliptical galaxy.
Second circular object in the frame.
Stunning. Spiral arms are warped.
Feature is clipped in frame. Feature as interesting interior.
Three apparent galaxies in the frame. One center. One up and right of center and one left and slightly down. 3rd is smaller than other 2.
Definitely looks like two galaxies interacting.
Part of galaxy is cropped in frame. Good detail.
Good detail.
May have two arms, one at 2 o'clock and one at 5 o'clock.
Detailed galaxy. Dust lanes visible. Most of galaxy is cropped in frame.
Detailed galaxy. Spirals are difficult to detect. Dust lanes are visible. Part of galaxy cropped in frame.
Appears to be two galaxies in the process of merging, both barred galaxies. The spirals of on galaxy are distorted.
Half of the galaxy is in the frame. A smaller edge on galaxy in upper right hand corner. Detail would seem to indicate galaxy may be known.
Picture shows two galaxies, one diffuse and the other edge one with a distinct bulge and dust lane.
Large galaxy. Mostly edge on. Lots of dust and star formation. Large cloud of stars.
The background 'stars' are asymmetrical. Much more on the left than the right. Possibly a tail of 'stars' off frame to right.
Round object that has different colors, from yellow to magenta.
This appears to have many star clusters, collored blue, but does not have a regular shape. Is there a possible companion at edge of frame?
