Astronomers take notice! (ATN)Perfecty symm. across a vert plane! Nucleus, bar, circular feature ("ring") w/diffuse light, out: normal stuff
ATN: Barred Globular Cluster!!!
ATN!! Extremely unusual galaxy -- two sets of arm parallel above and below galactic plane!! Prob interact. w/ adjacent gal about 2 dia apart
ATN: Astronomers take note!! Adjacent galaxy has sets of arms out of galactic plane!!! Never seen this before. Looks like galax. interact.
Object appeaars to be a star. Image in frame is the jewel, dark clouds on luminosity over the entire (truncated) frame, proably nova remnant
A third elliptical-like galaxy of uniform age yellowish-white stars that has arms - here very distinct, narrow and tight.
Incomplete frame, very extensive object nearly edge-on, large luminous ribbon from core out more than 2 diamters. Probably a merger.
Another seeming elliptical (even-aged yellow stars) that has begun spiral arm formation!
Looks like an elliptical galaxy (uniform collection of even-aged yellowish white stars, that has developed a pair of nearly symmetrical arms
Beautiful spiral galaxy with very little star formation and poorly defined arms with no open space seen from about 20 deg above the disc.
globular cluster with slight but obvious loose barred-spiral geometry!!!
Possible jet of same-color (orangish yellow) material, or just a galaxy edge-on in the wrong place.
Classic train wreck.
nebula but not a galaxy. Scattered aggregation of blue stars with two distinct regions at the edges. Many blue stars thruout the field of vu
Very large disturbed spiral, lots of regions of star formation. Same object as previous frame, but different bright spot for RA and Dec.
There is a pair of rather dark patches symmetrically disposed outside the galaxy about 1/2 galactic dia. each and 2 galactic diameters apart
Beautiful double-armed spiral viewed nearly from normal to its plane of rotation, one arm slightly disturbed, possible disturbing object.
Beautiful classic barred spiral.
Possibly one object mirror-imaged by gravitational lensing? (Two bright circ. objects w features, closely touching, symmetric about a line.)
Near limit of resolution. Part of larger conglomeration of thin, wispy bodies.
At the limit of resolution.
