Galaxy Zoo Talk
What a great pic!! #BBO #BlueCatepillar
Centre is an #AGN (Active Galaxy Nucleus) surrounded by a dusty #spiral (2 arms) with a hint of #starforming #blue areas to the right.
I've seen many images on here, and processed over 1000, but not seen one like this.
This looks like a #merger between two #spiral galaxies with #AGN active galaxy necleii. #starforming #blue #tidal
Its a bright star in our own galaxy that has affected the sensor.
The more you classify, the more incredible sights you'll see.
I know some are looking for #double_dust lanes, this merging or overlapping set of galaxies makes an interesting image with the lanes!
It's a star, or a series of stars rich in oxygen. I'd say, bearing in mind the other #blue spots, that this area is #StarForming
This looks like multiple #ring s with a #bar in the centre. Anything else I should be aware of?
#blue #ring galaxy. #StarForming. Possibly after a stellar explosion
#blue stars #starforming #nebula #ring
a #disturbed #ring of #blue. #starforming
This image is out of focus but seems to have a nice #blue star in there!
#blue #bulgeless #tidal #starforming
#Edge on #dustl lane
#ring pf blue, could be caused by an exploding star.
This has several dust lanes in the centre, so may qualify for #Double_dust.
Found a lovely square #ring of #bue_pea in a #starforming galaxy
#spiral #bar #AGN #green_pea
I wanted to share this with you all. It's literally a star-studded photo!! #spiral #tidal
Another curious galaxy, with a ring of #blue_pea stars, #tidal debris around the edges.
#ring #distrurbed possible #AGN in the centre?
Is that a ;large spherical object in there, such as a planet?
This could be a #double_dust galaxy.
What on earth is the brown/black object in the bottom left? Is the image corrupted?
Now here's a complex #merger of galaxies leaving a #tidal and #disturbance
An interesting array of #blue_peas. I love Galaxy Zoo!
Ok, I'm starting to get used to this! I've promoted myself from noob to nearly-noob!
#Ring #Spiral #Tidal
I find this interesting as the spirals seem to emanate from the outer ring rather than the galaxy core.
Merging spiral galaxies #Merging #AGN
This, on closer inspection looks like a massive explosion pushing matter and gas outwards in a ring.
#Merging galaxies can be beautiful, almost a work of art. The spiral arm is being stripped of stars as they merge.
This is an interesting galaxy structure with what could be luminous gas burning around a supermassive black hole in the centre?. #AGN
#merge #AGN
There is a star with what appears to be a high redshift. Is Galaxy Zoo looking out for these too?
#AGN
#ring This galaxy looks unusual, irregular with a ring around it.
Is the bright middle due to an #AGN ?
