Galaxy Zoo Talk
There are many star clusters on the arms of this galaxy's spiral arms. It is basically comma shaped but a little lop-sided.
This is a remarkable comma shaped galaxy with an unusual, irregular centre. Very swish!
This galaxy has many clusters of stars distributed (apparently) randomly with a slightly denser cluster in the centre.
The densest part of this elliptically shaped galaxy appears to be at a focus of the ellipse.
No idea.
This looks like two galaxies playing Chasey.
Most unusual shape.
I think this galaxy might be relatively close to us. It has a beautiful symmetry. Looks a bit like a frisbee.
It's Pacman!
This looks like a Biblical figure walking through space! Is it an angel? Oooooo, it's a beauty!
Very unusual, symmetrical shape. Looks like a frisbee.
I have no idea what this is. It looks like a nice sunset!
This pretty galaxy appears to have two hoops around it.
This is a beautiful galaxy! The simple spiral is composed of a chain of star clusters.
This galaxy is a perfect S shape.
This appears to be a perfectly symmetrical S-shaped galaxy.
There is a central cluster of stars at what is probably one of the foci of the ellipsoid. The other focus has no similar cluster.
Very unusual wispy galaxy with no clusters. It's like a piece of organza.
The "centre" of this galaxy is near its edge. There may be two of them swirling and merging.
No idea. This looks totally different to any of the others.
Wow, this one looks like an axe. Most unusual shape.
This looks like 2 galaxies: one comet shaped and the other spherical. The "comet" is coming towards the other galaxy.
This one is most unusual, insanely irregular and rather pretty.
This galaxy looks like a fish swimming through the firmament. There are 2 central clusters with numerous other nodes. Maybe spirals.
I can't see anything.
I think it might be a comet.
This looks like two galaxies close together but independent. They are different in shape but complementary.
This galaxy appears to be exploding, North, South and West (so to speak). It is unique in shape. Maybe the thing out West is something else?
This galaxy appears to have at least 4 central clusters. It is oval in shape with a hint of a simple spiral pattern.
This galaxy is kidney shaped with no central bulge. It looks like a back-to-front comma.
It might be a star.
Is it a star?
I think it might be a star.
I think it might just be 3 stars in a row.
It has an unusual centre. Along the cigar's central axis are several clusters of stars.
This galaxy has clusters of stars within an elliptical field of stars. The clusters are arranged along a crooked line. Odd but pretty.
This galaxy has an unusual shape. It looks a bit like the Southern Cross constellation within an irregularly shaped spray of stars.
As well as the central core this galaxy has numerous small star clusters on its delicate spiral arms.
This elliptical galaxy is unusual because the core appears to be noticeably off-centre. I wonder if it might be cone shaped.
This galaxy has a unique shape. It has two sectors of stars opposite each other nad no stars in the gaps on either side.
This is the only one I've seen like this. It looks like two sectors of a circle, approximately opposite each other, with gaps in between.
This galaxy has relatively small irregularly-spaced blobs within and airy veil of stars.
A highly unusual galaxy with about six blobs strung out irregularly in a boomerang shape amongst a wide veil of stars.
This galaxy has an irregularly shaped centre with an arc a little further out. Its most unusual feature is two very very long spiral arms.
This elliptical galaxy has no solid centre. It seems transparent.
It does not appear to have a central core at all. It looks transparent, like a piece of organza.
Very pretty galaxy!
This is one of the oddest looking galaxies I've ever tried to categorise. It looks like a thick, dense, straight sausage.
No idea what it is.
Unusual shape with a spiral and numerous clusters like hailspots on a bridal veil.
This galaxy is unique in shape, most unusual and interesting.
This galaxy is so distant that I have no idea what it looks like.
This galaxy is balanced in form but asymmetrical.
This is a most unusual galaxy. It has numerous chains of rounded shapes linked by whispy veils, very pretty and completely asymmetrical.
This galaxy looks like a mantra wray swimming! Do galaxies swim? Maybe, I think.
This is a most unusual galaxy with no apparent symmetry. It looks delicate and diaphanous.
I have no idea what I'm looking at. There's nothing (!) in the middle of the screen.
Though this galaxy has spiral arms they are small, near the centre, and wonderfully symmetrical.
This galaxy has a most unusual shape, clearly defined. It appears to be going somewhere, like an aquatic animal.
This is a beautiful shape, most unusual. It seems to be swimming through space. I suspect it may have radial symmetry like an aquatic animal
