The pair is #Arp 119. They are believed to have collided & now flying apart: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/bib_query?2001ApJ...551..651H
reddened by foreground dust. Misclassified as star by SDSS spectro pipeline. True z = 0.016 per NED.
I think this is an #overlap. No sign of interaction. Not in literature & might be of interest to W. Keel.
Yes, it's part of Abell 1882. I think it should probably be tagged as #wrong_size.
The green arcs are glare from a really bright nearby star.
...or a face on barred spiral with a long #bar and very open arms?
OTOH I think I see a hint of foreground #dust lane.
Looks a little like a magellenic spiral to me.
edge on, #warped, blue outer regions on both ends
I called this a disk without tidal debris. Looks slightly warped to me though.
looks like a slightly warped disk to me.
What's the actual object? The clumps of hot pixels in the center look like artifacts to me, but there's a possible galaxy left of center.
After taking a look on Skyserver, this is obviously a star. Most of the neighboring stars also appear green.
Very odd color(s). Possibly merging.
