I was just going to ask the same and now wondering how we tell if they are mergers or line of sight?
#lens ~ marked as a lens, looks more convincing in sky server, but not sure as I cannot zoom

I was intrigued by the yellow line through the centre, so looked on skyserver~it this looks totally different. Is this normal?
