Is that some lensing, or a bright part of the spiral arm? Or a dwarf galaxy?
odd shape-looks like its cut off at the edges...
A double ring?
Nice- a barred ring galaxy.
Nice spiral- classic bright inner arms, feint outer. Great field too
Looks like a top view of a splayed-out turtle!!
Great image, dust lane and all!
A clumpy non-symetrical galaxy- could it be due to gas or dust masking other bright areas??
Unusual configuration of the arms....looks like somethinmg is pulling the lower portions ??
i thought these were overexposed foreground stars, but they could be a galaxy group?? #robt
I suppose it must be, as you can't have an offcentre disc????
Is this a foreground star in line-of-sight or an offcentre disc?? #rob t
intense older stars on the rim?
Fantastic edge on galaxy and v prominent dust lanes. Great pic
