Galaxy Zoo Talk
What's going on here? #Merger?
Strange red coloring on the right of the galaxy. Very long faint arms.
Faint eliptical #ring. Polar ring maybe?
Very distinct #bar and small ring. Beautiful galaxy!
Bulge or star/distant galaxy? Looks like some sort of jet or illuminated object coming out of it
Beautiful #spiral
Cool! Very flat #bar and transparent arms.
#dustlane
God's smoke rings
Looks like serveral #rings or #disks
Very bright spot offcentre
Possible jet?
Nucleus of the center galaxy seems to be flung out to the top right of the image
#Merger at the bottom of the image seems to be on the foreground. Or is it interacting with the center galaxy?
A lot is happening here!
Wow! Very interesting shape! Maybe a #merger of almost identical galaxies? Like a siamese twingalaxy
Very cool #merger ! Kinda looks like the small galaxy in the lower right is also invloved.
Interesting object. The bulge seems off-centre.
And possible #bowshock above the galaxy?
Spiral turning eliptical? Nice #disturbed galaxy!
Strange #artifact
2 very different galaxies merging?
Cool. It's not really eliptical, but also not really spiral.
Ronnie's Voorwerp at 8 o'clock from the galaxy 😉
Merger or foreground star?
Interesting
#disturbed #edgeon
Very pretty
It kinda looks like there is half a bar, left of the nucleus, with 1 arm starting from the end of the bar. Probably #disturbed in some way
Could the white object at the end of the tidal debris be the lonely nucleus stripped of its arms? Or is it a foreground star?
#disturbed
bar instead of bulge
Interesting object. Merger or foreground star?
Another #baronly from Illustris
#merger
Looks like this object has 1 long and 1 short arm. Strange.
#merger or #overlap ?
How come the illustris images often have eliptical galaxies with a bar instead of a bulge?
Typical Illustris object
Nice!
Definately some interaction here. #merger
#artifact on the lower right, or something special?
Could this be a cluster of very young galaxies?
Looks like a cluster of galaxies with no bulges. The subject in this photo seems to be the only one with small spirals.
Interesting object. The blue starforming seems like jets from the vague orange galaxy with no bulge. Any ideas on this?
Looks like a #merger, but it's hard to tell
No galaxy here. Just some dust
Cool! Now i feel like a discoverer. Maybe call it snail shell galaxy?
Seems like the galaxy is twisted so that the spirals end up behind and in front of the bar, making it look like they reach the other end
Bulge and bar off centre, plus a ring. Remnants of a merger?
Wow! Looks like a perfectly shaped one-armed spiral
#Double nucleus
It''s only a bar?
Looks #twisted
Double nucleus?
#Merger in early stages? There seems to be interaction.
Big box. Possible jets?
Is this a merger, or is there something else going on here?
Wow, what happened here? Looks like jets of material shooting out of the bulge of a bar without spirals.
Merger?
Cool #disturbed shape
Lobster galaxy
Galaxies making sweet love to one another!
So perfect!
Could this be a lens?
#Ring
Strange orange object or artifact. Haven't seen anything like it yet.
possible merger?
Looks like 2 rings. And the outer ring looks crooked in comparison with the inner part. Relics of a merger?
Looks like a double ring with the bulge off-centre. Very curious to know what is going on here!
Merger of 2, or even more?
Looks like the spiral arms form 2 rings around the galaxy center
Lots of star formation. Something must've happened...
Looks like a bar with only little spiral
interesting object down right
How come it's so bright red?
Threesome!
What could the green object be?
Supernova?
Seems like a disturbed barred spiral
Swallow galaxy. The arms appear to start from the same point and are bent like the wings of a swallow.
Woah!
There is something strange about this galaxy. Very white, with a tiny bulge, and much light around.
There is somthing unusual about this smudge...
This galaxy seems to be adrift, like it has lost its black hole
That's exactly what I was thinking. There's something weird about this galaxy
Something strange going on here...
Looks like these 2 have a history together
Perfect!
What's the object on the left of the galaxy? Small diffuse galaxy maybe?
#lens?
Awesome #whirlpool
Nice #edgeon
Beauty!
Very #orange!
#threesome and a #voyeur
young galaxy?
#merger?
arms or ring?
double #edgeon #merger
The lower arm stretches out quite far
Strange-looking galaxy
This galaxy has a #curve
Is this really a galaxy? The picture seems pretty sharp, so wouldn't the arms be noticeable then?
Nice one!
The greenish pixel in the galaxy: artifact or something interesting?
Very #disturbed
#transparent
Woah! Looks busy!
Wow. Looks like it's far away...
What a #lonely galaxy...
Could this be a #merger between an old and young galaxy?
#ninja-star
Double #edge-on
There is definately a ring around this one
what could this be?
Might this be due to lensing? The left one seems somewhat like a fainter copy of the right
Looks like some arms have gone rogue!
