There's a purplish halo here. NED image also seems to show a round something in the same place.
Nice #ring
#ring
That's a curious ring. I wonder what the red pinpoint in the middle is about. I've not see this before.
I'm not exactly sure what we're seeing here. It almost looks like 3 galaxies merging.
I cited this as #tidal_debris, but it might be a gnarly #dust_lane
Hard to tell, but there may be a galactic jet here.
Hard to say just from the visual detail, but I'm calling this one a #merge.
#bar #ring
Looks like a 3-way merge.
#supernova visible in DECaLS data, but not SDSS
There are some #cosmicrays going on in this photo.
Yes, I agree: 2 rings.
Nice ring form there. Might be an interesting one to get a better image of.
Looks like a powerful #emission to me.
Are those red lines #particle strikes?
#purple #pink
Is that line across the galaxy a high energy particle strike on the sensors, or perhaps a visual artifact?
Possible #Einstein cross
Perhaps a merger. Bright blue area could be the core of the 2nd galaxy. I suspect some reaction is taking place.
Looks like the smaller galaxy at top blew through the middle of the one at center, and there is a smoke ring phantom trail.
#supernova maybe
Looks like maybe a #supernova there.
Looks like it might be a relativistic jet.
#galactic_jet
#star_formation #ring
Is that a red galaxy in the mix, or is that something moving through the field of view?
#star_formation
Looks like post-collision wreckage of two galaxies, but the fainter galaxy looks like the shadowy doppelganger of the brighter one. #debris
Looks like maybe one or two star forming regions in there.
Nice #Merger and #Rring
Is that bright spot a supernova, or maybe a companion galaxy? Is that perhaps an arc in the mix?
Irregular
Hot, star forming areas maybe?
Artifacts I suppose.
What's up with the red dot?
I marked it as a lens, but was strongly tempted to put "other" because it's hard to tell.
#merger
#arc
That looks like an arc to me.
Is this a galaxy or a star?
cluster?
Is that red streak high energy ejecta from the galactic core?
Kind of a ghostly white ball there. I presume it is a galaxy.
A lot of high energy particle strikes. Is that maybe an erupting galactic core with jets?
