Galaxy Zoo Talk
wow ! no kiddin...ur rite!
had the spiral but missed the bar
how strange...looks like a mammalian embryo
really bright disk
not important but quite naturally artistic
i guess these are star artifacts but i am not sure...
do large spirals like this indicate an older age for the galaxy?
stumped with this one
saw this as a ring...could it b a spiral?
ok gotcha. thanx
this is a dustlane! i tought these were galaxies what is the difference here?
nice one
this appears to have a double ring!
why is this star? all by itself?
what is this? starforming outside of a galaxy?
majestic!
r these galaxies merging and does anyone see a thin blue lane running between the disks from 4oclock to 10oclock?
the rarely seen string of pearls galaxies!!! just kidding. as i have learned from elizabeth they must be stars in our galaxy
is this galaxy coming apart?
nice artifact. diffracted nearby star is my newbie guess
is this center considered boxey?
i would have said it was (as a novice opinion) an edgewise galaxie with two medium spread spirals
if they r two cores is that the result of a merger?
thanx for the input trevor
thanx e. nice to share time with u again. i learn stuff
is this a galaxy cluster?
#twins
if there are such things as "twin" galaxies would these qualify?
if these are merging is this an unusual approach position?
anybody ?
is this a nearby diffracted star?
is this called a dish galaxy?
clumpy galaxy with tidal debris?
#barshaft
thrre is a purple shaft also coming from the bar shooting through the ring
whoa! what the heck is going on here? the ring is away from the disc and what is that purple bar with something gold wrapped around
is this possibly a triple merger?
two stubby spirals or a ring?
nice ringed galaxy
is this merging or is the top disc actually a background star?
extremely bright center
is this area in the upper right tidal debris?
another large nursery area?
is this large blue area a star nursery?
have they already merged and drawing apart from one another? why is there a seemingly triangular form to the image? can 3 galaxies merge?
is this object a galaxy forming in the distant past? it is enveloped in darkness
i am very grateful for all the feedback. thanx
another view i guess closer
i guess these are some kind of diffractions of stars?
this galaxy has a spiral reaching out above apparently towards the yellow blue green object that also has a spiral arm that is arcing away
thanx stereospace...i am grateful for all your feedback
are these types of images of interest and is there a legend or illustrations on this site to use as a guide?
are these merging or twin discs in the same galaxy or a bar feature?
something is going on through the center of the blue ringed object in the form of a thick purple shaft!
are these some kind of dust clouds?
what is the red region in the center of the disc?
no idea what these are
are these very distant regions of some growth activity?
#trailing spirals?
is this the early stages. of a merger?
possible. merging galaxy
i am new to this very interesting project and perhaps i am seeing things that are of no real interest or value. any advice welcome.
spiral forming at center?
dark spot in center
what is this light blue feature at 8 oclock?
