Galaxy Zoo Talk
After examining closely could this be a solar system object like an asteroid tracking across the exposure?
Curious about the artefact at bottlom of Galaxy? Contamination on lense? Drop of pixels?
So many galaxies in one small pic. Loving the current data set very much.
Not sure what this is: foreground stars, foreground Galaxy or merger?
#merger
Round Galaxy with #ring hereby named the Gunshot Galaxy or is it a nebula?
#wide #spiralarms
Take that back, darn single band images, massive star forming on Galaxy wide basis! large area at end of spiral arm, what's going on here?
Very interesting galaxy here lots going on, the one arm seems disturbed with a satellite Galaxy as the culprit
Complete #halo around the bar but inside the arms
I would like to name this The Stearing Wheel Galaxy
#beautiful #tight #spiral
2 very bright spots at either end of the bar, equidistant from the #bulge and appears this way when viewed on Galaxy Server as well #strange
Beautiful tight spiral with one arm very long and scattered quite a distance from bulge
A beautiful spiral with a edge on universe just above
When viewed on SkyServer this image is peppered with Red Dwarfs and Yellow Stars from our Galaxy, very nice pic in color.
Very wide #bar
On Galaxy server it shows clearly as a very typical loose, 2 armed bar
I think this is my first true merger or a very perfectly aligned pair of galaxies
Galaxy has a disturbed double ring appearance
I count 5 'dot shaped' bright spots that mostly line up
it would be interesting to see this object in more wavelengths, the two dimensional view of this 3D object looks like a wrap around to me.
Lower arm not directly offset to upper arm, seems like a third arm is missing.
A very elongated central bulge
I believe this a galaxy merger, do others concur? It is a bit strange looking.
