Galaxy Zoo Talk
I think this galaxy is interacting with another out of the frame but same z and similar spectrum. Use Navigate to see this.
Are those supernovae? This is a nearby galaxy (z=.02). Why have we not heard about this fuzzy stellar ball?
Looks like our own Milky Way's twin.
Wow, these two galaxies are passing through each other. Must be a great view for anyone living there. How do I beam up there?
Looks like a great mash-up.
No central bulge? What's going on? Is this SDSS or Illustris?
4th of July!
A rare, "boxy" on-edge galaxy. BTW, only Galaxy Zoo has this category, not astronomy texts. Does anyone know if this is legit?
Resplendent galaxy. Someone should study it. I'd, if I were young.
Wow, there are at least three galaxies near this one, and all have a z of ~0.035, so they must be dancing around each other.
Is that a supernova in the left bottom corner?
This galaxy has a z of .001, it must be close. Looks like SMC and equally beautiful.
These two are obviously merging, but with so little disturbance.
There's oodles of galaxies in the sky around this one. Go to SkyServer. Must be a great cluster.
I hope this's a merger, as I claim. Will go to SkyServe to see if they are equidistant.
These barred galaxies from the latest set are difficult to see, and you can't go back to correct the number of arms. They are breathtaking.
I don't know why we are asked to look at B&W images: on Skyserve these are in glorious color.
These barred galaxies in the latest lot are all so beautiful, even more so on Skyserve. The vastness of the universe blows my mind.
Is this a galaxy or a star? If a galaxy, is it a quasar? Why don't they give us the z value, as they did in GZ 1 and 2? Are those jets?
