Galaxy Zoo Talk
#gpair
Small light object near nucleus.
#edgeon
A small object in a spiral arm. The part of the galaxy (clump) or a merged, sattelite galaxy..
NGC 3976
group
Is there a dustlane?
Strange spiral. One arm is not starting from the center.
Double bulge. Slightly curved edgeon.
z=13.33 and z=14.62 - can it helps to decide?
unusual artifact or two galaxies with interesting colors.
possible #merger
#merger
Yes, I understand. Ireggular is one young galaxy, but not two old ones in the merge process.
Will merger result be irregular?
#irregular #merger
Possible #merger. I think spiral (left) with eliptical. The other variant is dustlane.
#starforming
#gpair and bright star
#dustlane
#ggroup 4 galaxies and 2 stars above
SDSS ID: 587722984435351614 at http://mergers.galaxyzoo.org on main page. You can explore how they are merging
#starforming arms #barred #spiral
#gpair and stars pair
dark dot in the center
#gpair - is it correct tag, when can not decide merger or overlap?
So I think no. No straight line in the center. Only smooth, curved arm ends.
If you did`t ask me,I said there is no bar yet, or it is forming now.But in detal view after your question it is imagining in the inner ring
Is dustlane possible there? I mean dark red circle around the center.
merge or overlap #ggroup
Both spiral arms starts from center bright dot. I think that is very compact bulge.
#ring #barred
possible #dustlane
#group of 4 or 5 galaxies

Non standart galaxy. Smooth, but has core with forming bar.

merger - possible
Star or galaxy?
optical artefact from foreground star, I think
Dark area around foreground stat is optical artefact or lens effect? Can we see this effect here, in theory?
So accurate S letter. But http://skyserver.sdss3.org/dr8/en/tools/chart/chart.asp?ra=43.56397173&dec=1.04393008 - is miror view. Why?
Where light from far object goes neat big mass, it path curves due gravitaton.(gravitational lensing). Can we see such effect there
I mean light distortion from far galaxy due star mass, not grav interaction. Can wi see it at this image?
Is it interesting object to veiw gravitation effects? Star and galaxy on one line cause seeable effects.
estrella de nuestra galaxia, creo que sí (foreground star, i think)
#edgeon + Red dots in the object. Blue are foreground start and green&darkblue at the left
Double ring (on the skyserver image)
Galaxy core is not in the center.
#pixolated
I see ring, bar. But what is in the center?
sattelite trail
Two nearly placed round galaxies. Merge of overlap.
Possible ring.
#ring
Is is foreground star in our galaxy. #star
Strong balge #spiral #barred
http://talk.galaxyzoo.org/#/subjects/AGZ0007858 Another artifact with such sizes but green
Three stars in a chain.
#blue
#barred #ring
#starforming #spiral
I think, that is optical artifact, but can not describe how to make it. Such pics can make a panic in media: an alien ship, bottom view 😃
#edgeon Four dots artifact at the left and upper of the object.
Stars
I think blue areas are starforming in spiral arms. Galaxy has not clean strucrure something odd: iregular. Bar - is question, can not tell.
Ok, possible merging, can are simple overlapping. But they are nice!
"the little blue/greyish thingy" - I talked about it.
They are so like as images in GalaxyMerger project! I am ready to press "Start simulation" button but there is no it.
Center object is smooth and round and ovelaps wtih othe bright objects. They are more interesting configuration then central object
I think bar is forming in the center of the galaxy.
#barred merger (possible)
fine disk
#cluster
#star foreground star. #edgeon
#edgeon with long line over all image like jet or artifact
Star collection
interesting small objects around cerntal.
#starforming blue areas
#barred_spiral Nice S-form
Has spiral arms.
How to classify that?. Clampy, 2, merge or Smooth, eleptical merging? Second galaxy some irregular, but has arms? or clampy arms.
#dustlane #edgeon will be nice in hi resolution
#ring #disturbed #merge
Oranges.
Simmetrical configuration. Smooth and possibly merger
Is it spiral with big bar or edge view? I think that is is bar. And with ring.
#satellitetrail
Spiral, with 2 arms and bar. Posible merge or overlap.
Thank you very mach. I was confusing, if does not know what is it, but very often in images.
Sometimes bright green light presents at the photo. Is it optic artifact or real cosmic object?
There is nice angle of view for this galaxy.
Lightsaber artefact. Or no?
