Yep nice #bared #spiral
Annoying green artifact. Yet it seems to be some kind of #bared #spiral #bulgeless with lots of #starforming I would say…
Beautiful #merger
nice illustris #merger
nice polar #ring
The spiral seems disturbed. I think this is a #merger and not an #overlapping one.
#merger
They are galaxies
#weird #smooth #starforming ? #overlapping ?
Really don't know how to classify this one. Kind of smooth but with some stressed frontiers. Could this be two smooth ones overlapping?
I would say a foreground star
It seems to be a foreground star in fact http://skyserver.sdss.org/dr12/en/tools/quicklook/quicksummary.aspx?id=0x112d105b804801df&spec=
Could the bright light @10 be a #supernova ?
Object at the center looks like a star to me. It is quite pointy and lacks fuzziness #wrong_size
#illustris #merger
nice #illustris #spiral
kind of #irregular #bared #spiral ? with lots of #starforming regions ?
#dustlane with polar #tidal-debris ?
nice #spiral + #ring
#spiral or #irregular ?
weird #illustris kind of x-shape at the galaxy scale. Could this be an emphasized effect of an x-shape bulge? Is this a edge-on or else?
How should we classify that? Smooth sigar or edge-on disk (since we can identify a bulge) ?
#merger ? #tidal-debris ? #dustlane ? or overlapping foreground star?
Overlapping foreground star or #merger ? #tidal-debris ? #dustlane ?
#lens ? or #overlapping foreground star?
#irregular or #merger ?
#merger ? Weird #spiral Could this be a distorted edge-on?
#wrong_size ?
#decals_red_artifact
#decals_red_line
Yep Illustris too. Everything is ok.
Upgrading to 1.53 seems to have fixed the problem. I am now classifying mainly the DECaLS dataset.
#polar-ring ?
Indeed I receive 90% SDSS images via the android app. I am upgrading to 1.53 right now. I will tell you if it changes anything.
Thanks for the link. I asked because I found it weird that the dots were not aligned. Haven't checked NED though. Thanks
yep. I classified it as artefact. I was using the android application. Version 1.52. at about 7:00 AM UTC today.
#satellite http://skyserver.sdss.org/dr8/en/tools/chart/chart.asp?ra=357.30602243&dec=60.81738324
#asteroid ?
I understand what you say. Indeed objects look different from where they are seen. Try answering what you see. Have fun.
#blue #violet
#overlapping ?
Ok! Indeed this is not an edge-on one. Thanks
#starforming
#artefact ? Mmm no the GZE tells it's an illustris image. Don't know how to classify it though
#lens or #tidaldebris at 1 o'clock on the edge of the galaxy?
#starforming blue bubble and an orange stuff. Don't know what that is. Also very faint galaxy.
SkyServer links to the three objects involved: http://bit.ly/1Pfz2yu http://bit.ly/1VzNmqP http://bit.ly/1Q2fZGl
http://imagine.legacysurvey.org/?ra=354.5568&dec=-0.1823&zoom=16&layer=decals-dr1j galaxy eating fest?
#tidaldebris at 8 o'clock or another galaxy? It seems that object is being torn apart by the one at the center and the one at the border.
now that's an #x-shape right? =)
#merger ?
#starforming ?
distant stuff at 11 o'clock. Not sure if they are merging with the galaxy at the center.
#x-shape ?
weird one arm spiral galaxy merging with a bared one? #merge #bar
#bar #ring
#disturbed #shaded
Kind of solo arm. #tidaldebris
Will do for sure 😃 thanks
Thanks for your feedback. Sorry at the bad tagging. Still learning. Best regards.
#voorwerpje at 7 o'clock?
Yes I meant that one. Thanks. Indeed it makes sense
#yin and #yang appearance. Ex-centered bulge. ring with blue material. Global glow hiding the galaxy
Weird extra #bar in une arm
