Galaxy Zoo Talk
Yeah, don't think there's any ring, just a fairly ordinary-looking spiral.
barred spiral?
i think the upper object is a star.
smudgy spiral.
very nice. what do you think the size difference is between NGC 3799 and NGC 3800?
looks like atoms for peace galaxy.
nice nebula.
#disturbed
busy merger!
very nice pair.
i cant see one.
very long arms!
ring or spiral arms?
bright blue irregular
ring?
elliptical merger!
whats going on here?
tight armed spiral.
merger or foreground star (lower right arm).
a nice mixture of galaxies AND stars!
i cant see any dust trail and it looks like athe light of the star.
stars
cool! i find this one peculiar, as there are not a huge amount of galaxies in view, although that may possibly be because they are so faint.
i believe that this is a lens arc, but i could be wrong.
one i think - very disrupted spiral.
possibly, but other possibilities include tight spiral arms or a smudgy elliptical.
most likely an artefact.
nice!!
only 20 million ly away!
do you think this galaxy has been pulled out of shape by its companion on the left?
lopsided
LASER!
this is a strange galaxy! below the main disk is what looks like a tidal streamer and around the nucleus is what looks like a polar ring.
does the bottom object look like a ring galaxy or just a peculiar-looking star?
nucleus off center?
why so dusty looking?
wow, fantastic detail! looks similar to NGC 6050, two mergers in the Hercules Cluster.
looks like a two-armed spiral to me
not lensing. definitely a ring or halo of some sorts.
it looks like a star
fantastic merger
very thick dustlane
intermedite barred spiral
Mayall's Object
bad quality, busy cluster
if you look closely you may see some fuzzy tidal streamers.
group of strangely interacting galaxies
dense galaxy cluster
ring galaxy?
two merging ellipticals
great dust lane
possibly a foreground object, then?
great ring galaxy!
to me it looks like a spiral that has been pulled out of shape
beautiful
looks like M101
very elongated
lovely and golden
golden and 3 armed!
nice and bright edge on galaxy
light coming of the lens?
very nice cluster, very dense in the middle
tight cluster
what is this?
big blue galaxy, with nice dustlane!
big lens arc
spectacular face-on galaxy
quick question: how far away are most of these galaxies?
not far from a complete merger!
small cluster perhaps
one-armed
looks a bit like Sculptor Galaxy
lopsided center
to me it looks like a ring galaxy, but is the elliptical in the center behing or in the same location as the ring of gas?
reminds me of NGC 3314
looks like either a comet and some awkward light illusion from a star
reminds me of Mayall's object
think its a dark dust cloud
almost looks like there a jets protruding from the nucleus
nice collision!
looks like Centaurus A
one armed?
that is one big dust lane!
very lopsided
looks like it has a dark, swirling dustlane
very elegant
nice intermediate spiral galaxy
awesome, bright galaxy. Do u think this has spiral arms?
