#black_hole ....... lol, just had to say it
#dustlane #red_shift
@farrelly: Probably "red-shift" due to an object (the galaxy) moving away from an observer
These blue "patches" within this galaxy... would they be huge #star-forming regions within the galaxy, indicating that it's fairly #young?
It appears as though an arm of this galaxy is actually being "eaten" by a nearby galactic core (black hole)? Would you concur?
Notice the lower-arm of this galaxy is much more tightly-wound than the upper-arm? What would cause this during galactic formation?
This looks very similar to a star cluster... Any chance this is a galactic cluster?
What would cause this add-looking "shockwave" pattern objects
What the hell is this? Sun glare hitting the lens or something?
Any idea what this would be caused by?
Merger? What do you think? #merger
