Supernova 1987

  I was luckly enough to see this happen from my backyard in 1987.The Magellanic Cloud usually is just fuzzy and you see nothing. That night there was a very big star which lasted 3 days. Fantastic!

  There is some talk about Shakespeare & his imagery of stars- it interested me, and I found there was a super nova during his life; he would have been very young at that time - it's known today as "Keplar's Star"
