Red and green star in front of galaxy: real? artifact? both??

  Here is zsp 0.038 SDSS J164038.38+335552.1, with and without photometric objects identified:

  

  The red and green objects are SDSS J164038.78+335554.9 (SDSS thinks this is a zph ??? galaxy), and SDSS J164038.86+335557.3 (a STAR), respectively:

  

  Myself, I think the red object is real, more likely a star, but the green one an artifact. I've come across several green 'stars' like this, over the years, in SDSS images, and tend to ignore them. Perhaps they're cosmic ray hits? I very much doubt that they're Green Peas! 😄
