SDSS J004539.12+114249.3 = Weird voorwerpje?
-
Posted this to the green peas thread in the science channel, but I suppose this qualifies as its own subject:
I found this doing an SQL query for blueberries & purple peas- the region to the upper right seems like a clear OIII region. The only problem is, these don't look at all like galaxies that could have OIII emission. They both have PhotoZs of ~0.2 (weighted average: 0.195 +/- ~0.03) which is far beyond where OIII can exist.
So is this some kind of overlap? A weird voorwerpje? Something else?

Well, what are the possiblities?
White blue is starforming, so this is not starforming.
Voorpwerps are deep pure blue, almost indigo. So, for me, not voorwerp.
Nothing in NED

photoZ (KD-tree method) 0.500 ± 0.1616 I really can't believe this, so I'll ignore it.

no photoz -9999.0 ± -9999.00. so I will have to guess the distance myselft.

I think the colour is starburst, lots of hot oxygen. Pure blue with a hint of red, as blue peas turn into purple peas . So 0.05
So I think a blue pea, an OIII object, and it overlaps the yellow galaxy.
The blue object is probably closer to us than to the yellow galaxy.
EDIT: Distant galaxies greater than 0.1 are blue-red, but they are only visible if they are lensed. which increases their brightness. This one doesn't look lensed.
